  1. hello everyone,

well i had my monthly doctors appointment today. i lost 6 pounds, that puts my BMI below 40 but the insurance might only cover if it is more than 40. now they want me to see a cardiologist. and the nutritionist wants to see me the week after thanksgiving. i have my last doctors appointment on dec 4th. then they will send all the paper work to the insurance co. to be approved. i guess i will keep my fingers crossed

hope everyone is well. do you think we should start an exercise thing before everyone is banded???

that is awesome that you have your dates !!!!!! i am soo happy for you. i can't wait. my 6 months is not up till dec 4 then on to the insurance co. my last nutritionist is this week. everything else is done. i am so excited for the both of you. what a good christmas gift...

  4. LizMoore,

sorry to hear about your bad news. my doctor is also carol mccloskey. i have 3 more months to go in my supervised weight and exercise program. can't the dr's office write a letter to the insurance co. you seem to have alot of other illnesses. you would think those would help you get approved for the lapband. i hope things get better for you.

  5. hello,

i also am doing the 6 month thing. my pcp said she feels they want to see if you can change your diet and stick to it. i have to wait till december for my 6 months to be over. my pcp has me writting down everything i eat everyday and also i am wearing a pedomiter to document each day how much i walk. i am also using this time to try different recipes with the Protein Shakes and to eat slower and chew better. good luck in your journey.
