WELL SAID PRIVATE SUPER & TELLY! :devious SARGE HERE:devious Prayers are great...BUT w/Actions are better! Now worship your body like the Temple God intended it to be! He helps those who help themselevs. (:deviousthat means everyone get off your butts & change your routines:devious) Stand up infront of the mirror & say out loud "There is no amount of struggle I can not handle with Jesus' love." I am talking to each & everyone of you! We all could have done better last week like SuperDaddy said. ANd last night well lets say I screwed up & fell short of being a good solider to God & myself & am now paying for it just like Lapbandfan. But today RIGHT NOW it can all change. That was part of the commitment page!! Remember - that if you fall off you need to start from that very moment AGAIN...Not the next day or week. So our moments of defeat will be brief & passing! I AM PUMPED UP & READY TO FIGHT WE WILL ALL DO IT THIS WEEK MAKE SMART DECISIONS GET ANGRY MOTIVATE YOUR MIND YOUR BODY WILL WANT TO FALL IN LINE!

I didn't take the time to read all the responses. BUT I truely think he has a good point. If being on the computer is for business thats a whole nother story. But for support I personally think more than one hour a day is over kill.IMO I told my lapband doctor when I first was banded about this board & he told me straight out " If you spent that time on a treadmill instead of a computer you probably wouldn't have such a weight problem." Ouch! The truth hurts sometimes. I thought it was harsh but than again he was right. -
Will do Private. Think about protein shakes at night when you crave something sweet. Write everything down! I know this is a weak spot for you & also for me. BUT NO MORE!! This writting everything down could very well be your ticket to control! I believe in you & will pray for you as I do every night! Love you Girlie! Hope Mom is getting stronger.

I pray sometimes out loud, sometimes not, but I pray. I have been praying every night for the past 5 years. I have never missed one night of prayer & for that I am very proud. I was never very consistant nor as close w/Jesus years ago. Oh sure I prayed but not every night. Its importanat I feel to thank Jesus for the day & all whom have touched your life. My prayer for my band is this - every night: "Dear Lord, Please allow my body to accept this tool inside. That I may be healthy & learn to work with my band to optain & keep my goal. Grant me perseverance Lord." " May my eyes be open to what you lay before me & my heart & mind accept them fully." I pray for all my LBT family, especially those in need of prayer and those struggling without their bands. God Bless each of you tonight & always.

I would go see an ENT specialist asap. They will know exactly what is going on & will be able to talk along with your band doc as well. That way you don't waste time. -
Welcome Aboard! A little more background on how many fills & how much will help also. I find that when I get a fill I lose b/c its kinda like a new start. But I continue to lose if & only if I follow all the bandster rules. When I gain its b/c I am slipping up & not following rules. I tend to get complacent(spelling?) you know lazy & relaxed. As to platueas, I think they'll always be something everyone hits & its a matter of changing ones routine till the scale moves down.

Nice Job Samantha, I love it when I lose a pound, this week sucked for me!! Lasasha- WOW!!!!! 7 pounds in 2 weeks thats Awesome Private! Make sure you move your dates to look like mine. You are now just starting week 3 so only two weeks are filled w/results & than next Monday after weigh in you should fill in 4/24.

If your happy- Than I am happy for you!!! I too am divorced. My X-ass was 5 yrs younger & now the man who is making me smile ALOT more is 7 yrs younger!. I think its so funny that all I have ever wanted was an older man & all that are ever attracted to me are younger!? Strange- 'cause I am not a sugar momma;0)

Hi everyone! Boy I really blew it HUGE this past week. EVen blamed it on my boyfriend who is relatively new to the picture. Said he was the reason for my HUGE 4 pd gain. I know I am responsible for putting the crap in my own mouth but damn it when he wasn't around there was crap to eat. I care about him but really & truely do better when no one is around. I have zero hubby & no kids & well until I reach goal , I kinda like it that way. Lets face it ... its so much easier. Not to mention all my girlfriends love to eat healthy & men well they just don't. UGH!! What a bad week. & now I am so wanting carbs again:0( The SARGE ... well he kicked my ass! Totally made me rethink about my commitment page & than he made me throw out all the crap in the house again- lol lol He has me on double time till Friday & no boyfriend till friday night. hmmmm maybe that will be the ticket;0)

The easiest way to think about it is that we are now just starting week three. Which is 4/24. We haven't finished week 3 yet so there shouldn't be any weight loss yet for that week. The first week we did was from 4/10 to the 17th . Since I lost 2.5 that week I placed it next to 4/10. I have a gain this past week (for week 2) so I will place it next to 4/17. I hope thats not confusing.;0) Try & think of it has you have a start date for that week & than you'll want & post your wonderful results. I have to leave for this morning & afternoon but will check out everyones reports tonight.! Good Luck & stay focused!

Sorry for all your problems you've had. Its just awful. I hate hearing about so many people losing their bands. Its so scary for those going through it & those who sit & wait & say"when will it happen or will it happen to me?" Be good to yourself. Hey Girlie- Well you know how I feel. I will support you in any decision you may or may not be thinking of. One think is for sure. We all need support both emotionally & physically! I have TOTALLY heard of this happening before. But your story had me laughing so hard I had to call my Mom in Florida to read it to her. I am so happy she threw out the pills & happy you were there to help witness it. It can be a very scary & serious situation. But the story really was a "true Classic"! -

Well I for one LOVE the quote option! It saves me time- lol These are my thoughts above (in Quotes) & if the scare story thread can be placed back - PLEASE do so for the benfits of everyone. I don't even have my old photos anymore(can't find them) & wanted to show a 10 mnth out shot next to the begining shot. Its so sad- truely. If we are voting- I vote that a LBT member can only remove what they "type" themselves & nothing else. I hate that someone removed my thoughts & photos. Even if they did get the opportunity to start the thread BEFORE I did. P.S. I also miss the spell correction button:0) Keep it light people there are more important problems in the world - truely there are. Spend you energy wisely.

Consider yourself "Committed Solider" But we don't hold anyone accountable here BUT yourself. So once a week Sunday/Monday tell me your weight lose & any inch lose or body fat% & I will add you to the count! Read the commitment page on the first page & get your calendar out & keep track! You'll be amazed at how well you'll do before your 11 weeks are up!

I too Pb about 2 times a month maybe 3. I try & not do this of course But --well you know ;0) My concerns are that your band can slip. This is a fact. Pbing too much can losen the threads that hold the band in place & it can slip out of postion & up or down. When this happens you can have a tough time keeping anything down. So like everyone said contact your Doc & he'll know what to do. Stay on liquids until you can see him. Best of luck & let us all know what happened.
