starving! 4 days post op!
I'm like 4 Lady Di, I'm not hungry BUT last I decided (old habit that will NOT happen again) since I was feeling SO great (surgery was 12/10) that I was going to chance a few chocolate chips....MISTAKE. They came right back up. I don't want any chocolate now on the brightside. Stick with the water and protein if you can. It takes about 3 or 4 swallows; then you will be stuffed. You will be on to mushy/soft food b4 you know it. Good luck to you!!

so far I've lost...
My drs make you stay on clear liquids for 1-2 weeks so I haven't been moved to anything different yet. We'll see what happens when they make the switch. I have some exercise equipment in my home and I haven't found the energy to actually go IN the exercise room yet LOL. I'm working on it. Have you tried drinking hot liquid? And since surgery is AWESOME!!! What other diet have you tried that worked that well? You are almost down TEN pounds!! TEN pounds! And FIVE of that is since MONDAY!! You go girl! Good for you! I've tried every diet out there and the most I've lost in the first week has been 3 MAYBE 4 pounds.

This is a personal question but my own monthly friend will be here in a few weeks. Did you notice any difference? Like were the cramps better? That is part of my reason for having the surgery and I just had it this past monday. So I've got my fingers crossed. Congrats on your weight loss! I've lost 7 pounds since surgery!! I can't believe it

December Surgeries?
I stopped the meds after I got discharged from the hospital; the taste is SO bad, I tried them once when I got home and then I had the craziest dreams. Now I don't have too much pain it's just the sleepiness. No energy; but I'm working on it. We're slowly but surely decorating our Christmas tree.

December Surgeries?
Hello December Sleevers! I had surgery on Monday 12/10. The only things I remember from before the surgery was talking to the drs and nurses. And my husband saying everything was going to be find. Then I woke up in my room. I had to stay until Wednesday the 12th due heartburn and reflux with nausea. But I'm home and doing much better. I was stunned to find that I haven't been hungry ONCE. My husband keeps asking me if I feel hungry and I keep telling him no. I am doing my best to get my fluids in and I think I'm doing pretty well. One tip I can give you all that has been a HUGE help to me is go for hot liquids vs cold ones. I've been drinking a lot of decaff flavored hot tea (i haven't made it thru a full mug yet) and broth; chicken or vegetable mixed with some water. The hot fluid goes down much more smoothly. Anyway; good luck to everyone!

Surgery 12/20/12---Need Some Buddies!
So today is my last 'sleeve-less' day at work and it is the longest day EVER! I just have to get thru today and the weekend and then I'm up on Monday morning! I didn't think I'd be nervous but the reality is kicking in FAST. It's like super excitement and fear and nerves all rolled up into one giant emotion. I don't think I have to worry about food for the next few days LOL; I'm way too amped up LOL

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck & let us know how everything goes!- December Surgeries?
I had some greek yogurt today that said `pleasure on the bottom` it had honey on the bottom....don't be fooled!!!! It was still bad LOL! OK, it wasn't HORRIBLE...but i wouldnt go as far as calling it a "pleasure" either- I'm Not Going To Be That Person!
OMG! Ok, YES! I haven't even had surgery yet and I've been thinking about the people WLS doesn't work for. I just keep thinking positively and trying not to stress myself out before the surgery even happens. I don't think you you are being stupid at all. I know this is going to turn around for you!- December Surgeries?
I do fine during the week but MAN as soon as the weekend comes along it seems like I have this need to get in the kitchen and into the bad foods. This weekend I stocked my fridge with hi protein shakes and lowfat greek yogurt (which is really hard to get into; at least for me). I'm really looking forward to not being ABLE to eat LOL- Updated Story
I can't even imagine what it's like to go thru all of that. You must be a super strong lady though. Stay strong; i know it's easy to say but just remember your family is there AND there's a whole community of people right here thinking of YOU right now.- 4 Hours Post Op
