SSF KAISER HERE!!! Lol, and I thought I was the only one... ; ) I was sleeved this past Monday 11/26 by Dr. Robert Li. He was awesome and just seemed so on his game when he came to talk to me 30 minutes before surgery. He's been awesome to work with. Very professional A+++ I have my follow up with Dr. Khayat. From my pre op appointment I was told that Drs David Lee and Khayat have a similar surgery style but Dr Robert Li's is a little different.

Perhaps the cheese is pushing it. But it's soooo tasty! I think I'll switch over to non fat cottage cheese. My surgeon bumped me up to all liquid (which includes yogurt and cottage cheese) when I left the hospital. The cheese is the only exception I've made given that my dad is looking at me as though I'm a weirdo for eating 2 bites and done.

I have told around... 25-30 people. My own family thinks I cheated. That I took the easy way out. I read a blog somewhere that said if weight loss surgery is considered easy, then using a washing machine instead of beating your clothes with a rock by the river, driving a car instead of walking or horse and wagon, and cooking stove top instead of lighting a fire and cooking off the ground sure is the easy way out too. It's a TOOL. But of course, people will Always judge regardless

How many days post op are you? Try to walk, when I was 1 day post op, I swear I was having a heart attack. And the nurses totally blew me off as well for saying that. I suppose everyone assumes its gas. If its not going away, you're not burping or farting, and it's increasing, go to the hospital. Better one false alarm than not doing anything when it really is something.
