I am walking my journey of sleeve surgery.. I go on Medicare in June .. I am preparing all the appt. needed before June .. Right now I have my plaletes to contend with.. They r high.. Have to go have a bone marrow aspiration & biopsy on Wednesday .. Will get the results April 25th .. In the dr. Office that do ur physic eval.

NO I am not .. I found out that my group plan doesn't cover this surgery but come June 1 I all be on Medicare & Blue Cross.. with both of them I should be good to go. I have already got them echo cardio yesterday ...

I have BCBS of FL. I'm so disappointed. My surgeon's office stated that they submitted my paper work 2 weeks ago, but when I called BCBS they said they didn't have a claim for me.

I have the same Policy with them.. I was told NO !!! So I waited... Now I am on Medicare

I am 5'0" weight 206 age 61.. Have gone though several medicinal clearance for surgery ! I am hoping to have the January 2013....

I'm 5'0" and currently 201 but having surgery Jan 30' date=' CAN'T WAIT!!! Goal is 130ish but 125 would be great! 135 is still good anything is better than what I am now! The least I have weighed since having kids was 10.5 yrs ago and it was 145 and I looked pretty dang good then...to me anyhow LOL so I'm sure I will be happy with my weight after the surg. Tons of middle aged and even older folks. Look in the forums' date=' where you'll see special groups for folks of all ages. I'm pushing 60, was sleeved in March 2012 and am just a few pounds from goal. Sailed through everything. Lots of others sailed through too!
