Aloha November Sleevers! Well I have not posted for a while. My neice was reccently here and I was shocked when she took some photos of me. I am down now 59 pounds! I am 2 pounds from wonderland last time I posted I was 18 pounds from onerland. While my neice was here I definately ate too many Snacks and for the past few weeks have been going back and forth over the same 2 pounds! I realize I need to buckle the reigns when she left I gave her everything she wanted for the plane then opened the trash can and threw it all away!
Size wise I went shopping yesterday I have gone from a pants 24 to a 16 and tops I was a 2x or 3x yesterday I bought a medium! For fun today I put the 24 pants on I was swimming in them! My goal is a size 12 I want to get out of the plus sizes!
I need to make sure I am on track the doctor scared the life out of me he said the first 6 months will be the most weight loss and at a year that it will stop. I still have 52 more pounds to go! I dont want to fail I feel for the first time I may be slower but... I want to finish this.
It is strange snacks go down sooo easy but yet I can finsih a small salad. That means I have to choose carefully. Still no diet soda for me I am going to keep that off the table and no fast food. Which at times has been a challange I tell myself I will be sick if I eat it.
What are you eatting? For me still Protein Shakes (nectar 100 calorie), deli meat, cheese, Edomame (soy beans) is the one vegtable I seem to be able to eat easily. Soup is also good and any seafood oh and eggs. Have added a little fruit apples or berries. chicken still not a friend yet struggle with that.
I need to get back to logging everything I dont want to get too comfortable still need to push forward. November sleevers how are you? What are you eatting? Are you still logging? What is your calorie count?
Love the 3 month photos side by side amazing! So proud of you all!!

Hello I was sleeved on Nov 15th down a total of 41 pounds 32 of that is since I was sleeved I lost 9 pounds a few days before. I feel like I should have lost more by now but...Then I think when did I ever lose 32 pounds in 10 weeks? Am down two sizes and was so excited to buy an XL top yesterday. My next goal is to get out of the 200"s 18 pounds to go to Wonderland. Am going to Japan in April and hope to lose 25 pounds by then. I am curious Nov sleevers what are you eating? Craving? anything you cant eat? I too need to get moving work so much but need to add exercise. Yougurt, eggs, egg beaters and shrimp are my staple. Cant do chicken and salad does not settle well with me fruit in small portions. Good luck everyone! Wish I had more support near by sometimes I feel so alone in this journey.

I eat super slow. I also get the hiccups. In the begining I could not tell as well I am 9 weeks out so getting a little easier. I eat with small forks and spoons (smaller then baby spoons lol) it helps me take my time. If I eat over it is extremely uncomfortable.

love this thread. I am 6 weeks out. I was an emotional wreck before the sleeve. I kept crying I mean why couldnt I do it on my own? My hubby was great at listening to me. Every food I ate I wondered will I be able to eat this again? When I was sleeved a week later was thanksgiving and my birthday, then Chirtsmas. Everyone tried to get me to wait but felt like if I need to eat through another holiday maybe I should not be doing this. Once I decided to do it everything happened so quickly 2 months. After the op for several weeks I thought what did I do? But I am so thankful my procedure went so smooth I am on the up and up and trying to adjust to my sleeve. I miss diet coke I miss sushi but I do not miss the 32 poinds that are gone. I dont miss nothing fitting me, Each day gets better Its okay to regret things we have to learn to change our mind set I love the honesty that people are posting.
When I moved to soft foods and ate cottage cheese for the first time it tasted like the best food on the planet! LOL baby steps and day by day is how we will get there!

Pain in my stomach I would say zero. Pain itself I would say maybe 4 or 5 when I woke up I felt my back was going to break in fact the first thing I wanted to do was get up. I thought because the procedure went to long. As soon as I could get up I tried to stay out of bed I slept in the chair with tons of pillows. My pain was the gas and my back so strange no pain in my stomach and did not feel or get sick. I used the pain meds for my back and to help me sleep. Stayed two nights mainly because I was feeling weak. Very smooth surgery!

Hello reach out to me anytime. I also feel alone. At work they know I was sleeved but...I dont think they get it. I wish there was a support group near me but there isnt. Hang in there my hubby tries to support me he knows my struggle with PCOS but as someone who has never gained a pound since high school I think it is hard for him to understand. Best of luck.

Hi Soulcyster. I do have PCOS have been through everything. Before deciding to get the sleeve I went to a PCOS specialist for 2 years in Orlando. All in all I lost 10 pounds, tried shots, meds, weight watchers, Jenny Craig, Atkins you name it I did it. When I moved here I knew I had to do something for my health had 2 heartattck scares and my bp was off the charts. You know with PCOS heartattacks and strokes are common. There is a pcos group here but...they are so quiet. Contact me any time we have our own challanges but we can do this best of luck!

I am 6 weeks out. There are times I can eat 3oz and other times I can only eat a few bites depending on the day. I was shocked I could eat several cups of popcorn but sometimes cant finish 3oz of fish. I will not continue with the popcorn...My dietcian also says that even a year out you will be able to eat more carbs/snacks then chicken of meat. I guess that is why we have to be careful. AHH i miss fruit going to try a little soon. Good luck!

I was on Metform twice a day but not since I was sleeved. I know it is crazy but our bodies with PCOS sometimes dont want to let the weight go. I guess we just have to keep on going!.

Hello! I feel your pain when I look at everyone else who had the same op date they are way ahead of me. I am at 5 weeks and 19 pounds down. My hubby says that I look smaller everyday. I try to take it one day at a time. I stopped weighing myself daily. Last week I lost 4.5 in a week the week before -2 and I also stalled for over a week. With Pcos we know it will take longer but actually low carb low sugar low cal is the perfect balance for us to loose weight! Good Luck!
