  1. Hey Sara, I am in the East but would be happy to travel for a get together.
  2. My doctor is concerned and has been trying to find a solution. I have tried Nexium etc. But so far the best solution has been to stop eating.
  3. I am also 8 months out. Vomitting is just a part of my day. It doesn't seem to be related to how much, how fast, the time, the type of food or anything else. I have learned to live with it now. And I live with the reflux also. Even my 7 year old granddaughter says "if Nanna burps 4 times it means she is going to throw up". I think it's just a side effect for some of us.
  4. In Australia everyone is innocent until proved guilty. Sounds like it's the other way around in America.
  5. If you go back and read all of Rollergirls postings you will quickly know who the victim is in this whole debacle.
  6. You look fantastic Darlene, and I love that dress! Don't forget to take the tag off before you go out parading your new bod around!
  7. Thanks. I will try them both. Made one of my own today but it was horrible. I obviously need to add some fruit to sweeten the green veg.s.
  8. I have been reading about the benefits of green juices with regards to weight loss and health. Does anyone have any good recipes?
  9. Hey Laura you look fantastic and it's great to see you out there having fun. Good news is, I have quit drinking, back on a healthy diet and doing all the right things. We are planning to bring our 7 year old granddaughter to Disneyland in May so maybe we could catch up for a coffee?
  10. You've gotta give some credit to all these fat women having sex 4 days after surgery. I would have sliced off my partner's willy if he had tried anything at four days out.
  11. As I told my 6 year old granddaughter, you have to be very careful swallowing gum because if you fart you will blow a gum bubble and your arse cheeks will stick together.
  12. I am in Australia but I went to our Seaworld and the beach 8 weeks after my surgery. It was hot also. I could not eat airplane food at all. At Seaworld I found a fruit salad and was able to eat a small amount. Mostly I had cold water or water ices. Luckily I was staying with my daughter so was able to buy yoghurt and keep in her fridge. Eating in hot weather is not easy, but more difficult when you are sleeved. Find an air-conditioned room and sip, sip, sip!
  13. First week? I could barely drink water. There is absolutely no way I could have eaten anything solid. Are you sure you had the surgery and just didn't dream it?
  14. Disliking you even more. I would change my name but then would probably be looking for a name for your diarrhea.
  15. I have a body part I might name after you. I will give you a clue. It puckers but you don't wear lipstick on it.
