  1. I think I missed something along the way. I am 7 months out and didn't know that you can't taste test you recipes or chew gum. I don't chew gum anyway but if I did I definitely wouldn't swallow it because when I was a kid my Mum told me that if you swallow gum you blow bubbles out your arse when you fart and it sticks your panties to you.
  2. Definitely the slimes! I still get it on occasion but Vitamins are the worst. Get some of the chewy ones, they seem to go down easier.
  3. I've been good thanks, lots of dramas but hanging in there. My daughter had her baby the other day, 8 weeks early, but both are doing well, thankfully. A 3 lb.little girl named Ruby. Anyway, enough about me, why are you so shy about a new pic?
  4. I think it was a full moon. Poor Danelle attracted all us crazies.
  5. Ok, but have you been into a 17 year old boys room? What they save is way beyond gross!
  6. Me too! I want to be on Hoarders! Oh no sorry, we don't do that in Australia. It seems to be a genetic thing that only Americans have. Let me just climb over this pile of newspapers into my closet of clothes that still have the tags on cos they don't fit me, and through the kitchen (where is that oven again?) and out the back door, no, front door, the back door doesn't open cos I have a rabbit hutch there ( no rabbit) S**t. What is this thread about?
  7. Don't cry and don't stress. Those that matter know how caring you are and that you said nothing wrong. It just seems that there are people on here these days who feel they need to prove something about themselves. Sadly they are proving that they are really not very nice. You have already proved what a lovely, caring person you are.
  8. B**ch yes, skinny no! Ms Skinniness is just a bragger! I haven't seen what she is made of yet!
  9. Thank you, and yes she is an angel because we are told that if she was born one minute later we would not have her.
  10. Proudgrammy, I love you babe. Don't let any of those babysleevers upset you. You deserve rethpect, wait, I have to put my false-teeth in, respect is what I meant to say. You are one of the most encouraging people on this site and if people take offense at your comments then they have NO RESPECT.
  11. Hmmm, that's one worry I have never had, but I am willing to give it a go!
  12. Come here you! I just want to give you a big cuddle. I have missed you so much you cute, slim man! And what's going on with your cute man? Are you ready to send him my way yet or has Laura claimed him?
  13. Hey Laura, I am doing better despite my life. Last week my daughter gave birth to her baby 8 weeks early. Our darling Ruby weighed 3lbs at birth. I spent a whole day thinking I would lose them both but thankfully they are both still here and each day I wake up and feel so lucky that they are. I guess I have been shocked back into reality and realize that over the last weeks I have been extremely self-indulgent. (Sorry to anyone I have offended). I have really struggled with my sleeve over this stressful period, but I am determined to get back on track and healthy for my loved ones. As always Laura, your posts lightened my darkest days. Thanks. And by the way it hasn't all been bad, I have discovered the best chocolate ever! Ok, that's really bad but if you only eat 3 squares of it and nothing else for the whole day you can still stay under 600 cal.s. (That's a joke people). Pls. don't give me a hard time..... Yay, I'm back!
  14. Laura should be everyone's role model! I have been down for quite a while and the only thing that has kept me going is reading Laura's posts. She has been my breath of fresh air when I have been drowning and the light at the end of my tunnel. I admire you so much Laura, keep doing what you do, for you truly are an inspiration!
  15. Unhappy with myself, no. Unhappy with this surgery, yes. As for my new life, well it consists of pain, not being able to eat, and what I do manage to eat comes up again. My body is covered in bruises because I am so anaemic that a slight bump bruises me. I regularly pass out because my blood pressure is so low, so I have had to give up driving. I could go on but why? No-one wants to hear from the likes of me who has seen the other side of this surgery. Everyone wants to pretend that all problems are solved when they are thin, but that isn't always the case.
