  1. Buckaroo Banzai? We don't have him in Australia. Can I have an explanation pls.?
  2. I still have about 25 lbs to lose. Well, probably 26 now.
  3. Hmmm, perhaps you're right. Oh well, it was worth it.
  4. Forget all those places, come to Australia and stay with me. I know all about what we can eat and we have the best beaches in Australia. We also have some pretty good life-guards.
  5. Comfort foods! Seeing its the middle of the night and everyone else is asleep I can say this............I had a hot chocolate and 2 shortbread cookies. So yum!!!
  6. When you said "a hot Fire-fighter" I thought you meant cute, sexy, handsome. But after seeing him in that pic. I'm guessing you meant that he had a fever. BTW, you're looking great!
  7. But I don't think Laura and I are allowed on this forum without you. Can't you take a sickie?
  8. It's 4.50 am here. Can't sleep. Going crazy! No, going CRAZIER?
  9. Just one small thing.. My Nut told me to only have Gatorade twice a week as the salt in it tends to cause fluid retention.
  10. I see you two finally got out of bed.
  11. Every time someone asks me that questionI just say, "not sure, I haven't weighed myself lately". Most have stopped asking now.

I knew it! I was going to say that I bet you work with a bunch of women! Women are such b*****s! In that case I would say, hmmm maybe a little, but they're still bigger than yours.
  13. It was a really nice try though!! I loved your posts and the point was a great one.
  14. Hi Sarah, I think it was really courageous of you to go to a gym class after so many years and I also think that it sounds as if the instructor handled the situation very badly. I'm no fitness expert but I think you need to build up your fitness a bit before you start classes, unless they are very gentle. Swimming is great for that and so is walking. Swimming is also good for your asthma. If they have a pool they probably do Water aerobics, this is a great way to start building your fitness also. Good luck and don't give up but I would work up to the classes slowly. Wendy.
  15. I think nearly everyone goes through that exhausted stage. Get onto some B Vitamins, that really gave me a boost. I really think your surgeon is expecting a bit much of you. I am just over 3 months out and I struggle to eat more than 600 calories each day. The most protein I can eat at once is 2 1/2 ozs. If I go any higher I vomit. Neither my Surgeon or my Nut are concerned at this stage.
  16. Ask the doctor if you only have it when you are lying on your back. When I had my sleep test done I had mild sleep apnea but I would stop breathing for up to 40 seconds many times a night but only on my back. The doctor said he wanted to try something before he put me on a CPAP. He told me to get a sports bra comfortable enough to sleep in and sew a tennis ball into the back of it. This teaches you to sleep on your side as it's very uncomfortable to roll onto your back. It worked a treat for me, no CPAP, no sleep apnea.
  17. My son bought me home two samples of MyoFusion Probiotic Series Protein Drink the other day and I love it. There are 7 flavors but I have only tried the Banana Perfection and Cinnamon Roll. Only 150 calories per serve but 24 grams of protein. I also like the idea of there being a Probiotic in there as I sometimes my stomach doesn't feel quite right and I'm hoping the Probiotic might help. Fingers crossed it might even help the constipation. It's also gluten free and has very little lactose. A good find. It can be ordered online.
  18. I love you too Martin.
  19. I'm off to have dinner. My partner has made Zuchini, Pea and broad bean salad with Ricotta Bruschetta. Gotta love that man!
  20. Isn't her profile pic. A fairy?
  21. You are a real dare-devil Laura, I'm running for cover right now. I think I saw the Iggy fairy coming.........
