    Dizzy

Usually means low blood pressure. Drink more water and get up slowly.
  5. Believe me, the last thing you want when you have this surgery is a holiday. You just want to be home in bed and familiar surroundings. I have travelled the world and India is very hard work when you are well, let alone when you have had major surgery. Visiting India is what I call a 'travel experience'. You need a holiday when you get home from India.

    Anyone hungry 8 days out?

It can be stomach acid and a lot of people find they need something like Nexium for a while after surgery. Check with your doctor.
  8. Well considering the lack of people putting their hand up I gather not many people have chosen India for their surgery. And I can't imagine it being a popular surgery in India as you rarely see a fat person there. But, I look forward to hearing how your surgery in India goes.

    Vet's Forum

What qualifies you as a vet? Is it the number of posts or the amount of time since you have been sleeved? A lot of people spend a lot of time on this site reading but not posting. Maybe you should get credits for what you read also.
  10. I am sure now that this is a joke, or maybe someone told you this on April Fools day. People who go to India make sure that they are well covered with travel insurance so they can get out of there if they get sick. However, if you decide to go ahead make sure you count your kidneys before you check out of hospital because any spare parts get a premium there.
  11. This is a bit suspicious to me. Two almost identical posts from newbies on their first post. However, just in case this is for real.........have you been to India? I have and I wouldn't even risk getting a splinter removed there.
  12. True. But I get follow up care from my surgeon once a month for 12 months at no fee. What do you get from surgeons in Mexico?
  13. I am not really sure why you would do that as my surgery was cheaper in Australia than Mexico. But not only the money factor, you will also get continued aftercare by your surgeon here. No travel before and after surgery. You will also be able tp meet and choose your surgeon. This questions a no-brainer.
  14. Boobs, boobs and then boobs!

When are we really in the "clear"?

My surgeon said week 8 was the all clear time.
  17. Since I got my sleeve I have nights where I just don't sleep. Last night was one of this nights. Has anyone else had this problem since getting sleeved?

    The great thread killer......

lessofmeismore, I thought you were a guy but you are a very pretty young lady. Now I have to go back and re-read all your posts. Damn!! Now where were we, where am I, what is this thread about? How much soda do you think you would have to drink before you exploded?
  19. On Friday I am having a forehead lift and my upper and lower eyelids done. Since losing weight I kind of look like I have a permanent frown. Yep, my face has sagged. Since it's the only saggy bit I can't cover I thought I would start at the top and work my way down.
