It also depends on your body and how fast it heals, i was back to myself about a week after surgery. (Thank God) havent started the gym yet but i asked the very same question to my dr and thats what he told me, starting this coming week!

About 2 weeks after, the dr recommend not to do any strenght exercises however cardio we can do as long as we are no pushing ourselves too hard, listen to your body.

My surgeon advised me not to take it because it's an NSAID and it destroys the lining of your stomach (especially us with the tiny stomach we now have) so ask for a prescription for Imitrex that you can take and it doesnt affect your belly

Zofran works wonders for me too!!

Push your dr to prescribe you diferent anti-nausea medications until you find the one that works for you, if nothing works ask for a upper GI to see if everything it's functioning right with your new stomach. BUG you doctor until you find relieve!
