    Exercising vs not exercising

It's always good to keep moving. You will be less flabby when it's all done... Keep up the good work!
  2. I am one that has lost over 180 pounds and yes I am still fat. I do know some people that had the sleeve and needed to lose over 150 pounds and only lost 60. I just think how soon we forget that feeling of someone calling YOU fat after we have lost the weight. After being called that, amongst other things, I don't think I would call anybody fat after I've lost all that I needed to lose... Losing weight is such a struggle with every meal and every snack every decision to work out or not... It's very difficult... These people went to support because they obviously need support... When you walk into a room and you are the smallest one there that means it's time for you to encourage someone else. These folks are probably looking to you for support don't knock them... Help them.

    Enhanced sense of smell?

Yes my sense of smell was very sensitive for a few weeks or maybe months but it did go away. It was horrible but it gets better.
  4. Didn't know we could take Imodium... Good to know. Hope you are feeling better now

    Working out after being sleeved...

I started working out and had a gain... It was because I was gaining muscle. I feel so much stronger and I actually did 5 miles on the elliptical machine today for the first time. I remember when I could barely do 5 minutes... I love it!
  6. He knows... I kept it from him for years but he knows now

The first few days are always hard but it does get better... After a few weeks maybe two you will be back to normal... The gas pain is the worst... Keep walking and moving it will pass.

    Mindless eating

Wow that doesn't sound like fun... But I know the feeling not so much with shots but just trying new things at different restaurants. Let's just say I always know where the restroom is and keep it in sight in case my sleeve wants to remind me who is in charge. Glad you are OK.

    freezing!

After surgery I am always cold too... Dr says my iron is low and suggests I take an iron supplement but of course I don't. I'd rather be cold than constipated I know TMI but true lol.
  13. I'm going thru the same thing at 17 months out. My hair is normally very thick but now it is so thin I hate to wear it out. It's always in a pony tail.. Probably gonna have to cut it short so it can grow back evenly but for now pony tails.

    Restart

I am 16 months out and can eat more now. I try to fo better. Its still a struggle
  19. Today I met with the plastic surgeon i think it went well. Hoping to get approved for a panni. I have to lose 30 more pounds for the thigh lift with lots of lipo first. Im excited and praying everything works out.
  20. If I can get everything approved Id like to do mine in April not too cold and not too hot. I have yo get letters from everyone to send in for approval
  21. A panni is short for paniculectomy. The PS removes the excess skin from the lower tummy area. Not a tummy tuck no muscles involved.
  22. I went fir my first consult and was told to lose another 30 pounds to get the thighs done but everything is good for the panni. A little nervous but this is much needed.
  23. How much did you lose? My legs are horrible after 180 pound loss. Do they approve thighplasty? I thought that was cosmetic. It is costly hope you get approved.
