    Anyone for August 2020

Xfatboy007... I had the sleeve done in 2013. Lost about 70 lbs from 280 down to 210. However, my stomach pouch dialted causing me to eat more....as a matter of fat I was able to eat the same portions prior to the surgery. Now giving myself a second chance and based on my doctors advice with the bypass I should be able to reach my goal of 190 and maintain it along with my lifestyle changes and a good workout plan. Anyone for August 2020

I start my diet this upcoming week. When I had the sleeve done, I couldn't stand powder protein shakes since they got got me nauseous. I end up on Isopure premade protein drink. It worked out just fine and they are I find them to be tasty. Also, if you do not mind me asking whats you current weight, height, and BMI...and what is you targeted weight? August 2020 Surgery Date

My office submitted paperwork to my insurance for approval. Now is a waiting game. My doctor said that my surgery will be most likely done mid August or end. This will be a revision since the sleeve only helped me for 2 years a my stomach pouches dilated throughout those years. Now I'm getting the bypass. Best of luck to all. 16. Hi there. I am in the same situation but without any kids..lol I gained the weight back after a sleeve. I have to admit that the stomach pouch dilated causing an increase in appetite. I also was struggling with stress since I had two jobs and school. Now more than ever I feel I will be a success. My surgeon is meeting with me tomorrow to discuss the date and next steps. Hopefully is this month's end or August. How long in advance that provided you with the date. Any pre-op steps?

    JUNE 2020 BYPASSERS

How are you doing? Any feedback will help.
  18. I am 36years old and after almost 7 years post-op from my sleeve surgery, I've gained ALL the weight back over the course of these years. I know..how? Well, I had two jobs and school and no time for "myself." Managing all three of these commitments, I also started by old eating habits in eating junk food and fast food since there was no time for cooking and meal-prepping. So after my first visit, I asked my doctor if it was possible to get a re-sleeve. He discouraged me and said he strongly recommends a revision to the gastric bypass. I am a little nervous since I've heard so many things from my friends about malnutrition, having to randomly use the bathroom any type you eat, and possible depression. Not sure if anyone here can help me in making this decision. I have a meeting with my doctor on July 7th and I want to be ready to tell him with confidence that I am ready to have a revision to the Gastric Bypass. Please tell me what should I be expecting, any concerns, any questions that I should raise?
  19. Thank you. Already feeling better.

    Sex... Oh My God... Sex!

Sex is awesome. For the first time in 7yrs we felt like we were porn stars! Lolz it was amazing. I last longer, I am no longer out of breathe, and I did many positions that I probably haven't done in a while. This feels great! I got sleeve Jan30th 2013 starting weight on day of surgery was 291 and today I am 256. That's a total of 35lbs lost in 30days. If I continue I will reach my goal by summer. And to those wondering how I lost it is exercising every other day. But best of luck to all n it feels great feeling in control of things. =)
