Hey Deborah, Welcome to the site. Check out my blog and I go into the detail about what to expect. I personally wanted the sleeve because I need a life long change and the sleeve sounded perfect to me. I did meet people when I was at the OCC that were getting the plication. They said they liked the idea of having a choice. I personally am sooo tired of the up and down and wanted a life change. Hope that helps.

Thank you all for your support. I get my drain out tomorrow and my leak test. I find it still hard to get liquids down. Just trying to take it super slow. I do feel better than yesterday but still sore on my left side and tired. Hope everyone is doing well! Btw: Dr. Ortiz has such an infectious smile.
