1. Trust me it will get so much better! I was the same way! 65lbs and only down 2 sizes! I was so mad and frustrated for so long but then seriously in the blink of an eye I am in a 12... And a 10 is not far behind (I just bought the 12s last week!!) That chart someone posted with the inches of hips and size seems to be right on target for me. Congrats on all the weight you have lost!

3. I am also 3 months post op. I have hit a huge stall... Lost basically nothing in almost a month! I am at the gym daily doing a combo of cardio and strength and I too am noticing eating more. Can I ask your calories? I am getting so frustrated because I was losing more per week prior to surgery than I am now. I have lost 75lbs total, 35 are from post op. I'm trying to stay optimistic but after a month of hard work it's getting more and more difficult.
4. I have one and I absolutely love it! I definitely think its worth the money.
5. I am on real food, its about a thousand times better to get my protein in than shakes.
6. I'll have to try that, I took dulcolax. I am 4 Weeks out and have gone maybe 4 times. Its frustrating!
7. 59lbs lbs down.
8. Aww yay there is hope! haha I have an appointment on Tuesday so hopefully I can ask him about the flinstones with iron, or at least get a general idea of when I can start taking them.
9. I am crushing up a calcium and a multivitamin and an iron supplement. I have tried mixing them into EVERYTHING I can think of. It turns everything black and tastes like I am eating coins. Bleghhh. I am just hoping to be able to switch to a chew-able that will be better.
10. How long after surgery could you stop crushing up your pills and just swallow them? Right now I'm on a ton of post-op medication 2 are liquid, one gel that I swallow, and 3 that I have to crush up twice a day and put into something. The liquid and swallow ones go down just fine and are okay but the ones that I have to crush up are making me sick... not the pill themselves but the taste that I get from everything I put them in. It tastes like I am sucking on a penny and the iron taste stays in my mouth for hours. Plus the smell of just crushing them up, everything about it makes me just nauseated and I want to stop them so so badly. I know I will eventually take a chew-able or gummy multivitamin and there are chew-able calcium that I can have but how far out from surgery are you allowed to take those? I am in my second week of post-op right now.
11. I am scared a little BUT I talked to my Dr. and they told me that its just in genetics. Reguardless of how I were to lose the weight, how much I toned and worked out the said "if its gonna sag, its gonna sag." Either way the main point is losing the unhealthy weight and things that would inevitably come with it. I'll gladly get a tummy tuck, whatever I may need after I have kids.
12. Oh boy, I was hoping to be at the gym by then! Ha oh well, the body will do what it needs to do I guess.
13. I tried that too but it didn't help me much either. I was literally laughing and screaming in pain at the same time. I didn't know that was possible.
14. Congrats! I had pain the the same exact spot, they told be it could just be some of the gas moving up into there. As soon as I started walking it started to go away. good luck and fast recovery!
15. I'm so happy I'm not the only one! I was just getting so down today, I have lost 52lbs and my shirts went from xxl to xl but my pants still fit the same. Its getting so annoying and while others tell me they can definitely see change its hard for me to see because of my clothes.
16. I was sleeved on Nov. 15th and am supposed to be getting 48-64oz of liquid a day with 80grams of protein. I am no where close to that! I am allowed cream soups strained, broth, protein drinks, sugar free liquids, applesauce, pudding, and blended low sugar ice cream. I only get about 16oz of liquids a day and around 10grams of protein. The only things I can handle are watery drinks and either applesauce, pudding or blended ice cream and I only have those when I have to take my crushed up pills. I cant wait to be able to have even just a tiny bit more liquid a day.
17. I was sleeved Nov. 15th, since then all of my incisions have no pain except the big one on my left side. Since my surgery it has hurt me to laugh so I just tried not to as much as possible well tonight I think it all caught up with me. I couldn't control it and man did it HURT! this may sound cheesy but when will I be able to laugh again? How long does it normally take for that big incision to heal?
18. I'm doing good. Pain is at a very normal level just the big incision on my left is painful when I move around a lot. I can eat about 2Tbsp of applesauce it takes me about 40 minutes to do so and I stay full for an hour or two.
19. Good luck everyone! I'm currently sitting in the waiting room getting anxious. This feels so surreal!
20. Just joined here today, but I am all set for surgery tomorrow too! Getting anxious and excited! Good luck to everyone else!
