    Drink or eat before workout?

I work out with a PT 7am before work - mainly strength training. (I do cardio in the evenings). I have been having a banana beforehand as I feel nauseous if I dont eat. Is that not recommended? I often dont feel hungry post-work out and have an early lunch ....
  4. Oh man .... wish I was a cheap drunk! No change for me
  5. In all honesty ... you prob wont feel like it! A sip here and there wont do any harm though. By 3-4 months out you most likely wont want the empty calories.

    November 5Th Sleevers?

Depends on what meat and how good I am at eating slowly ... I can only eat 1 ounce of chicken but nearly 3oz of rare steak. 2oz fish etc. Some days I can eat less some days I can eat more
  7. I was allowed it provided I watered it down 1 part to 5 parts water.

    Carbs?

I have had above average loss and carbs are my friend Good carbs! Protein is my best friend though so only when I have room.
  9. At 3 months out I was eating a lot of protein from meat and eggs. All meats and small amounts of veggies and fruit. Breakfast was cereal. Not eating rice and pasta. Very occassionally extra thin double toasted bread.

    November 5Th Sleevers?

Doing great. Down 73lbs. No major stalls. Working out lots. No hair loss yet. Hope to be at goal or very close to it by 6 months!
  11. If all goes well during your surgery then you will be fine. I was cleared for swimming at 4 weeks. The salt water will be good for the incisions. If it was me I would push it out to when you are 3-4 months post op. You'll be strutting your stuff then! (and posing for the cameras). You could even treat yourself to a cocktail then and order starters/entrees and not have to worry so much when eating out
  12. I sucked on a small piece of dark chocolate most days until I started on solid foods. I wasnt fighting food demons or heading down a slippery slope .... it helped me when I felt lightheaded or needed a tiny bit of sugar. Now 4 months out and very close to goal

    Before and After Pics

    Awesome work! You look great!
  14. I stalled at 3 months for a week or two. It broke. Even gained a few lbs. How long has it been since u saw a loss? Also how many cals are u taking in per day? An increase of calories often helps
  15. Been pretty amazing so far! Had a great recovery. There isnt anything that I cant eat everything goes down fine. I dont deprive myself of carbs or any food because I am fairly active and I want to maintain my weight not do another crash low carb diet. I am 90% good all the time. Take in between 800-1000 cals a day. I feel great

    MARCH 20 STAPLES

Are you taking the piss? Lol. No ...
  19. Clearly you are overweight so tell him you are trying to lose weight and doing a detox diet and like everyone else suggests do something that avoids eating. Its pretty socially acceptable to be on a diet these days.
  20. Its just a stall .... you are doing everything right. I think increasing your calories was a good move considering how active you are. At my 3 months I gained 4lbs overnight .... took a deep breath stayed off the scale for a week and dropped that gain a week later and got the momentum going to lose another 5lbs the week after! If you are really concerned get the tape measurer out - you will lose inches while the scale may not reflect this. Also round TOM you may see a water weight gain - goodluck and keep it up!
