Well chuffed for you Ebony. I don't get weighed again til Friday so fingers crossed I'm doing as well as you. :0)- November 5Th Surgeries!
Hi, sounds like you are doing great. I'm getting better with puréed foods now. Have tried prawns, cod, chicken soup(no bits) and tonight I am trying some puréed chicken with a wee bit of gravy. Think I might try having a Breakfast as well as a tea tomorrow but will play it by ear. Hope out journeys keep on track and stay in touch. Xxx- Help!how Does One Rid The Runs?

- Nov 14 Sleevers?
I had real bad diarrhoea also but am on day 15 now and it's all cleared up. My doctor recommended taking liquid codeine twice a day for a few days as this helps to settle swelling and bind poo's. it was a life saver for me. Hope this helps. Xxx- November 5Th Surgeries!

- Advice Needed Please.
Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it. I was just scared my tummy wasn't ready for the next stage, I don't want to take things to fast and end up ill. Xxx- Advice Needed Please.
I have had my sleeve for 11 days now and decided to try 3 teaspoons on fromage frais yesterday. I ate it really slowly (took about 45 mins) it felt fine going down but about an hour and a half later I had the most horrendous diarrhoea. Is this normal as I haven't eating for a while? I know I'm not lactose intolerant as I manage my whey protein shakes. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you- Whats The Difference Between Stage 2 And 3?
Thanks hunny, not that I'm anywhere near there. I ate 2 teaspoons of yoghurt today, it stayed down no bother for about 2 hours with no problem, but then I had the most terrible diarrhoea. Do you know if this is normal or does it mean my tummy isn't ready for this yet? Xx- Whats The Difference Between Stage 2 And 3?
I am 10 days sleeved and am now allowed to eat what you guys call mushies (blended food) fromage frais, cream soups etc. what's the difference between this and the next stage?- Please Help

I would say although it is good to be educated hunny, really don't obsess just now as its afterwards that everything really hits you. Like you I couldn't wait for the surgery to be done and then that would be everything over with. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!! I don't know how everyone else feels but the after surgery blues are real bad and I am just praying they don't last long. The surgery is the beginning of a very emotional journey so relax a bit just now or afterwards it might really hit you as it has me hunny. I have been told that it does get better and these feelings are normal and I really can't thank the people who have responded enough for their support and advice. Xxx- Please Help

I am now one week in from my surgery but am still getting very depressed and weepy over things. Apart from crippling diarrhoea I and tiredness I am really fine but can't help but feel like the surgery I have had has become an obsession almost. It's all I think about all day and its starting to really bring me down already. Has anybody else felt like this and does it pass and you start to almost not think about it anymore? Please someone help me. Xxx- Am I Doing This Right?
- Last Week Sleevers..lets Chat..
The hospital where I had my operation has shut down half of its wards with a bad novo virus just now so they have to make sure I haven't caught it. I was just hoping that this was nothing serious and it other people may have had a similar thing. I know that sounds really selfish but I don't mean it to. Just wanted to know I wasn't the only one.- Last Week Sleevers..lets Chat..
