  1. My scars are hideous! Really they are raised and red and very noticeable.... I'm 11 months out. Not one of the lucky ones BUT I wouldn't trade them for the world at this point, because of those scars I am happy and on my way to being fit
  2. It started at 235 currently the weight is 152. I'm 11 months out my thighs are a fright! And yes I have flappy arms I'm also 47 so it might be better if you are you younger.
  3. Lol.. I would of probably fainted too!! So glad you came through it all well. You have been in our thoughts and we really appreciate the updates! Jane I forgot are you alone or is the ex there?
  4. Oh ok, I guess your doctor decided to skip all the other stages you said you were on... Good luck

  7. Good morning 5:2 girls!!! Sunny and warm as always here.. The life of a Californian, boring Fast day here too Happy happy day to the fast girls
  8. I'm not sure what a "meximelt" is exactly but.. At a week and a half out it sounds like it would not be a good choice for your healing sleeve! I wouldn't worry this soon out about trying to hit 900 (or even 500) calories ESPECIALLY it you have to eat crap (and dangerous) food.
  9. Though I will always say you should stick to your nuts advice... 6 months without veggies? Does not seem right. I really think it would be worth a call into your surgeon to ask if you could eat things like broccoli and such. You said "fresh" does that mean raw maybe? Raw is a bit more difficult in the first months... Again I would put a call in to ask about this
  10. Busted sleeve sounds almost cute... A leak is not cute.. Really not to sound harsh but you really want to stay on plan at this point. It's about safety but later on its about really changing your habits to try and be AND stay successful at the weight loss.. be careful in the early days and make smart safe choices...
  11. I know this sounds boring (but I hate to cook) I've been adding pumpkin purée pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg vanilla extract and stevia to my Greek yogurt and yum!
  12. Yes! Or walking up to a mirror and being ok. I remember walking up to things like a store or our local library and watching myself in the glass reflection and seeing a mass of flesh rubbing and uncomfortable coming closer and closer
  13. Ok, just knocked out ten on the bike! 53 to date
  14. Well that is one thing I can relate to! Yes, we are all works in progress.... Wishing you well also
  15. Someone tell me to get my big ole lazy ass up and exercise!!
  16. I'm going to assume that Alex is finally getting ready to roll out the new site (only a few weeks late ) and this inconvenience is due to that?? We shall see....
  17. 200 pounds in a year?! My word, that is truly amazing!
  18. You are finally at a 35? Did you have to try and gain to get there???
  19. sorry coops... I get headaches and Migraines too. For me they come and I will keep getting them everyday for a week or so even waking up with them. I too get them after eating a meal! I find that so odd..
