  1. Or me.... I'm fasting on Halloween. How stupid is that???
  2. Girl.... I think you need a snickers bar!
  3. HAHAHAHAHA! Oh sorry... But HAHAHAHAHA!
  4. That is awesome Jane!! I'm so close I can taste it (I've been hovering at 151) But girl I want those 140's... so I will live vicariously through you until it happens! Yay! 140's!!!
  5. Ok I'm fasting wish me luck I will need it today! If I can get through today I cam get through anything.! Did I mention today is Halloween? Oh and it's my brother birthday? And that I have a bag of candy downstairs? That I still have to call my mom and spend hours (ok hopefully only minutes but it will seem like hours) on the phone with that emotional vampire. I'm trying to get 20 miles in today on the bike, I'm at 15 don't know how much more I can do, but I'm trying
  6. I don't think you've stretched your sleeve.. Your stomach naturally relaxes over the year. The key is to do exactly what you are doing, eat until satisfied and don't overfill to discomfort.
  7. When you get further out you will be able to eat more... Trust me. Also when binging we eat wait eat wait eat...
  8. Bring it on. I bet I'm in a worse mood!
  9. More ((((hugs))))) to you globe. I know being so young having a diagnoses like that must be scary... I'm not an expert at MS, but my MIL has it and so far it's been managed. I hope you have the same luck. It sounds like the good nutrition regimen you've started helps. Hang in there.
  10. Nights are the hardest! Especially after everyone goes to bed. I'm a secret binger and still have those tendencies. The best thing I can say, is make sure to keep all trigger foods out of the house! If you don't have them you can't eat them...
  11. Lol! I like the lanyard idea much better than the fanny pack one Those garments are straight out of hell you are right! That looks so uncomfortable how long again do you have to weera those? I bet they are so hard to put on...
  12. Yes it's acidic plus it's a diuretic so it can get you dehydrated easily in the beginning when you can't take in much liquids at once.. That being said I do drink half regular half decaf now, but I didn't have my first cup until about 4 months out
  13. OMG I wonder if I put new batteries In my scale, would it love me back like that
  14. Daisy, I feel for you! I really do, break ups are so hard.... Especially in those lonely moments when you start second guessing yourself. Be strong and know that you deserve a good person to complement your life, and I'm sure he's out there
  15. But the question is RJ, were you allowed egg drop soup on the pre op diet???
  16. Sarsar, you can do it! And lol I barely made it through or I should say SHE barely made it through... My mom is slightly overweight now. Weight has always been a struggle for her, but her self worth was always tied up in her attractiveness to men. She's had multiple boob jobs some of them so big she looked like a cartoon character. It always made me sad. When I was younger gross men would say things to her and she would take it as a complement. her sexuality was all she felt she was worth. Even as a child I knew that was not "right" and sometimes would tell off these creeps. As I got older I tried to tell her these comments where sexual harassment. Lol.... But not to her. Wow you are right Sarsar, heavy day!
  17. I can't remember what I lost in the first three months... But I can tell you whatever it was, it wasn't enough for me
  18. Jane and sarsar, Thanks for sharing.. It's powerful story you to tell. And makes me realize we all have so much more in common than just being fat people that can't control their eating.... We are strong survivors and though the survival wasn't always pretty or healthy. We did it. And we are doing it with our beautifully imperfect selves.
