  1. Ok is never heard of miss me I just looked them up... Nice but I don't like my skinny jean to have all the embellishment on the back pockets. But the cut look really good!
  2. I agree and he's working on it.. Actually our group fix was supposed to be last because he has so much to fix but he did a special favor and really work the guys overtime to get this (our group) fixed. So he's asking for patience I must give it to him now
  3. Butter great field!! Is that in Texas??? I didn't know you guys could grow flowers there... I thought it was just all churches and pickup trucks
  4. Totally hidden no one can see it now.. I tested it out a few minutes ago under a different users name just to make sure it doesn't show up under currents (beside for us) and after searching groups they can't get beyond our mission statement page. Before the change to the new site they could still read but not post..And I did get a few people (vets and newbies) that PMed before hand asking that we not hide it from view because they found it helpful even though they don't do the 5:2.. But it seems that most of everyone in the group preferred private. So if it keeps us together I'm all for it
  5. Lol sarsar! And skinniness I've seen your pics you are beautiful (and skinny!)
  6. Not jumping ship either. And more things got ironed out last night so I'm feeling a bit better today (Alex and I are BFF's again ) Oh and I'm glad a few more familiar faces showed up this morning!
  7. Wow sarsar! You are fit and buff!! Lol. I need to go work out Yes girls the group is totally hidden now!
  8. Yes Oh and nice new picture!!!
  9. Ok just tested it we are not only closed but we are hidden so no one can read it anymore.
  10. Hi girls Alex thinks he may have fixed the group. So we are private again...
  11. Girl.. You just didn't post all that in the mans room! Get ready for the private messages to start!
  12. Lol! I know the hunger Yep I would definitely measure.. That early out I was told to eat no more than 1/4 cup of purée at a sitting.. Not sure what your doc says. Meals will be frequent like every couple of hours. But keep them small because feeling isn't back yet. That's why you felt it in your throat instead of your stomach most likely.
  13. Well... It does help yes! But I'm still a lazy slob Yes talking about it with people here definitely helps me because you guys just "get it" Therapy.. I've been doing that for years. But also I talk to my husband a lot about my emotions. I still get mad but I'm more apt to tell him how I'm feeling and also that it still makes me want to eat and it's nice to be able to open up about that. You know, getting that secret out there. It's really helped.. The honesty.
  14. Lol it's good to do. But I tell you, sometimes I'd be mad and my husband would be like "ok Laura I know what's going on your having a hard day right" And that would piss me off even more I'd be like "no mother fucker I'm fine it's you! Your an ass!"
  15. Well it does get better. But it does take awhile and some work. Food and emotions, emotions and food... They went hand in hand for so many years, I can no longer turn to my friend, my comfort, my nemesis, food. There were days it wasn't pretty. At a year? It's better.. But I'm still working on new ways to cope.
  16. Oh and op. I've noticed and read that lap band to sleeve patients have a little more capacity. I wouldn't worry but you should measure your food out this early and not rely on full signals just yet the stomach is still numb swollen and healing.
  17. I got you girlie.. They weren't on my list either
  18. The best thing to do is talk to them about it now, so they can understand where it's coming from. You are making possibly the biggest change you'll ever make in life, and change isn't always easy. It helped my husband a bit to understand it wasn't him (sometimes)
  19. Well after reading that I was a bit scared to answer... But yes I found that going into surgery my emotions were all over the place. And not just because of the major surgery I was about to get. It was everything. I am fat. What have I come to that I need to do something so radical. What if I fail again. Am I making a mistake. These and many other thoughts guided my days. I have to say my moodiness did not end right after surgery either. I was prepared and so was my husband, but it didn't make it any easier somedays. I said to myself ok you can't be trusted with food so you are essentially going to take your free will to eat away for a long while. But those days, weeks following surgery? I missed food, I missed the act of eating, I knew I would, I mean that what I signed up for right? But it was a painful mental breakup. I wanted to binge and sooth myself. We just went through something major and our main source of self soothing has been taken away! So my nerves were raw, and I went through some feisty days.. All I can say is it is an emotional roller coaster, warn those around you, that you may have some mood swings, and when you are feeling them, recognize them for what they are and be kind to yourself and others
  20. Oh nighttime eating.... My downfall, I've just accepted the fact that I will always battle the nighttime munchies. So I "save" calories for the evening. I try to make smart choices of course meaning that I will have a Greek yogurt, a piece of fruit or worse case scenario a protein cookie.
  21. Look at you butter! I'm loving that outfit! 18 months? Wow time flies.. It feels like just yesterday that I came here and first met my BFF. Oh those were the days huh?
  22. Oops... Hi hadn't noticed your reply while I was busy whining.
  23. Cheri! Not chopped liver... You are a fine pâté to be enjoyed along with a good friend and a bottle of wine... Hey? did I just describe a Ménage à trois? I'm pouty today... I'm going to go to the store and buy a bracelet making kit my son wants. And no he's not gay! Not that there's anything wrong with that. But my lesbian daughter hates kids so he's my only shot at grand babies It might cheer me up to spend money. Oh and sorry fluff you weren't interrupting. This might just be out meeting place for a while. Nice to see your grumpy puss here too revs!! And butter I'm not a cougar I'm a chicken hawk. Ask my much younger husband what the difference is...
