We live in Los Gatos. That's in the Santa Cruz mountains... It's early yet for lots if different types of mushrooms but as soon as it gets more moist around here we have so many types and colors it's amazing I never really noticed until my son got interested. They have a big fungus fair in Santa Cruz every year and that place is hopping! You should be able to see janes pictures a page or two back I reposted them yesterday I think.. Yes I need to clean house on the group but since this switch over I can't get into the controls anymore! I've been off the rails! Today is a fast and I'm Up to 592 I need help... I just don't know why I can't hold it together!

How was your 5:2 day today?
Hey sarsar mushroom hunting around here mean going out and foraging for wild mushrooms.. But for us it means going out and hiking around to photograph and identify mushrooms.. My son hates eating mushrooms (the shame) But when he was younger he wanted to be a mycologist and learned everything he could about fungi.. He has changed hi career aspirations but occasionally still liked to go out. Here's a couple of pictures. Notice the kid has a notebook and a pencil

Big Fat Food Companies!
Well ok here's another rant about food companies GREEK YOGURT! Since I have two nice people reading this here's Part of an article I read... Is your favorite brand of Greek yogurt the real deal or a Greek yogurt fake out? Greek yogurt has taken the United States by storm, and for good reason. Ounce for ounce, plain lowfat Greek yogurt has more than twice as much Protein as "regular" yogurt, plus it's much lower in carbs. It's also incredibly versatile, standing in for higher-calorie ingredients, such as sour cream or mayonnaise, in creamy dips and dressings, and it can take the place of butter or oil in baked goods. The United States is the only place where it's called Greek yogurt – everywhere else in the world it's called "strained" yogurt, referring to the straining process that's used to remove much of the liquid (which is mostly Water and milk sugars), leaving behind a thicker yogurt that is higher in protein. Unfortunately, no standard practice exists for labeling foods as containing "Greek yogurt." This means that products can list Greek yogurt as an ingredient when they actually include very little of this nutritious food. Some of these misleading products are easier to spot than others. Most cereals, granola bars, dried fruits or pretzels that boast that they're made with Greek yogurt usually have more sugar than anything else, with a bit of "powdered" Greek yogurt. But other Greek yogurt fake-outs aren't so obvious. In the dairy case, for example, right alongside the "good guys," such as Fage and Chobani, there can be plenty of Greek yogurt imposters. These brands may have the same thick, rich texture of Greek yogurt, but instead of being strained in the authentic "Greek" style, they are actually just thickened with add-ins, such as cornstarch, pectin, Gelatin and carob bean gum. These products wind up with more carbs (and often more sugar) than protein, defeating the purpose of opting for Greek yogurt. Some brands may have a decent ratio of protein to carbs, but they're made with artificial sweeteners, such as sucralose (Splenda) or acesulfame potassium (an artificial sweetener that's used in products like Coke Zero). While the calorie count of some of these yogurts may be relatively lower, don't be swayed by calories alone - it matters far more where those calories are coming from. Since one of the main benefits of Greek-style yogurt is that it has nearly three times as much protein as carbs, I'll take a few more calories per serving if it means more protein and less sugar.

Butter said; "Yeah, the merger may have been a death blow. But more likely, it's like an ice age. It will kill off all the major life forms, but gradually new ones will come along who didn't know what it was like before and it will repopulate." To that I say shitED we are all dinosaurs!!! It's the purge!!!

Feeling nostalgic today... So I Would like to propose a moment of silence in remembrance of an old friend. Our long meandering threads seem to have turned into a dimly lit road to nowhere... Our ability to easily help each other navigate our unique waters have been washed away with a tsunami of confusion. I will light a candle in hopes of your return my friend. In other words? Alex! back our flipping VST!!!

How was your 5:2 day today?
My nana was the most beautiful woman in the world she kept her hair long and wore it down until her death a couple of years ago it was beautifully white. People used to stop her to tell her how beautiful it was... Secretly I want my hair to look like hers so I leave it long and wait for the grays to start looking good rather than weird!

What Is Skinny Anyways?
Ah plastics yes a possibility.. But not a road all of us will travel.

What Is Skinny Anyways?
Ideal, yes it's a struggle in a perfect world I would look much different at the end of this.. But as it stands now. I look just like I did before but a smaller version. I am the same shape as obese Laura. I guess that's what strikes me funny about those pictures and "ideals" Not only do we sometimes have these expectations of numbers but we start looking at these want to look like certain things that might not even be our body type! I mean some of us are hourglass some of us are all belly on two walking sticks! Some of us have knockers that will tip us over in a small breeze So really as hard as it is (and shit it's hard) we shouldn't enter into this wanting to look like someone or something else.. I will still be 5'4 (I hope ) older with floppy thighs and spider veins... Can I wear a swimsuit? Fuck no! I did this to my body and it can't all be undone. BUT!!! Swimsuit aside I can do a lot more now and feel comfortable. Skinny.... No that's not what I can shoot for but "normal" is a real goal. And normal centered into reality. Which is perfect in its imperfections.

What do you feel the "comfort" is from them now? I mean you have had the extra skin taken so it can't be to hold actual things in... And by the way you don't need them under those jeggings, as you look great in them as is! So do you feel scared to go without the compression on your new stomach?
