  1. Well to that I say what size are you wearing? because quite honesty once you get into sizes in the 20 and up range it takes a significant amount of weight loss to move from one size to another (up or down) the sizing starts changing faster once you get into say 18 or 16 it drops quicker with lost weight in those smaller sizes.
  2. You need to figure in your total loss up to today too. In normal weight loss you will hit plateaus and stalls you were chugging right along losing weight until you had surgery. The weight loss does not reset or start from scratch once you've had it because you were already changing and making wiser choices. some people eat junk up until the point of surgery therefore you see big loses out of the gate. Does that make sense?
  3. Lol! I felt like I earned a mile just for reading about all of that exercise!
  4. Great honest review. I think everybody's comfort level is different for sure. I would be more in line with your thinking, that these were some red flags. I'm glad you came through ok though. Give an update as to how you feel when you get home.
  5. Yes. I would put stevia in it and a bit of vanilla extract.
  6. It's the same date as the person who died through MBC.. I'm suspecting that's who it is. 2betrim you remember that one I think...
  7. Well prepare to be more sad! My picture from that day after that man said that to me..
  8. Irish!! I remember you (fellow November girl) Look at that after picture! You look awesome girl! Congrats on all the hard work you've put in, It's obviously paying off
  9. I would love to get a new one! There is a hideously unhappy fat person staring back out at me every time I pull that thing out... It's funny buplee this fits in to your hot thread too, how I don't like being judged.. When I went to get my new license I was at my highest weight. The "man" behind the counter asked for my old one. When I gave it to him, he said "this is you???" "Wow you Were hot" No kidding his exact words... My husband wanted to go back there and get him when I came home upset. Needless to say my picture was snapped. And not only was I rotund I was the most unhappy girl in the world at that point. Yes I want a new picture!
  10. Cindy I will assume you are talking to me since you agreed with my statement about being new.. But I must say I am not mad. also I feel nothing about my post was rude. I truly wish you girls luck and can't wait to see how you progress.
  11. I had my surgery last November. So I've been around awhile I remember waiting for the insurance approval though. And it was nerve wracking
  12. I think you guys are very new into this "journey". And likely your mindset will be changing again. This surgery is not a cure.
  13. Hello right on back to you! And I wish you well on your journey
  14. Ok today's NSV's I went biking BEFORE I went to a BBQ... In the past if I were going to a BBQ that would be the ONLY thing I did for the day! Oh and I played hopscotch with my friends six year old daughter but really, I was the only adult there not worried about looking silly. In the past I would of told the girl no so I wouldn't have to stand up and be noticed!
  15. Any kind of exercise with be beneficial! If you can get even a little bit stronger and healthier before surgery it can only help
  16. I will be fasting tomorrow too daisy we went to a BBQ today and the man that threw it is the best Mexican cook! Carne asada tacos, shrimp Mexican cheese and guacamole! I'm a sucker for Mexican food...
  17. Look at all the new people! Awesome!
