Ok I'm three weeks out I lost 10 pounds and today I woke up gaining a whopping 4 freaking pounds I'm so discouraged. I better not be on a stall this is slower than I expected I hear all these big numbers but mine is slow.

I'm 33 yrs old from New Orleans and considering the sleeve surgery. I meet with my surgeon on Wednesday for my initial consultation. My husband is against it but supportive. I'm self pay and coming out of pocket 14' date='000. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around all the what ifs. Can any of you tell me about how long it was before you were able to lift your babies? My daughter is 20 months and I do not have a lot of help with her because my husband works mostly nights. She loves to climb all over me and worried about that too. Don't spend that much I'm from Louisiana as well and went to TJ Mexico through ready for a change I used alma as my coordinator and dr Garcia he is amazing. He has never had a leak. I would do it all over again I am five days post op and back at home in the states. I will be going back to Mexico for reconstructive surgery when I'm at goal. The total cost was around 6k for everything His surgery cost was 4500 what cost the most was my flight from Houston to Dan Diego then Samuel picks you up and brings you to the hospital and you stay two to three days on the hospital then two days on the lovely Marriott The experience was amazing better care then on the states

I am two days post op doing well. My best friend n I are now at the Marriott and we have had a wonderful experience. We are sore as expected but we are being very well taken care of.

I am two days post op I had my surgery pm Monday the 5th. The hardest part for me was the first night. Lots of gas pains and pain whee my bulb was which is to be expected since 80 percent of my stomach was removed. Other than that the next day was better. Walk walk walk when they tell u to walk get up and walk it helps with the gas pains. If I had a choice I wouldn't change a thing. I would definitely go back and

Dr Garcia is amazing. I had my surgery done yesterday (nov 5th) and he saw me and my best friend walking in the hallway and hugged us. What an amazing surgeon and he has a wonderful bedside manner. Very pleased and impressed

I made it out of surgery OK. Everyone is really nice here. We waited for two hours at the airport for our ride' date=' so be mentally prepared just in case. No leak on my first leak test yeah! Going to get some ice here in a minute.

A lady here said she had money stolen when she went for her leak test, so be careful with your stuff. She seems happy now though, so maybe the hospital worked something out or maybe she found it. I'm making my friend take my backpack every time she leaves. It has all our electronics and iIDs and passports.

Wow I'm here too I haven't seem you. Dr Garcia is amazing. I have never seen a doctor more loving and caring than him. He hugged me and my best friend who also had surgery with me on the 5th when he saw us walking on the hallway. I would never want to go anywhere else. I too had lots of shoulder n gas pain but other than that I am fine.

please any one who had sugery in Mexico ( sleeve) with an exelent doctor??? please any one out there???

I was sleeved this morning by dr Garcia my best friend n i did it together. Amazing doctor n staff I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I was up walking an hr after surgery. I am serious he is amazing. What hospital are u going to

I am here now at Mi hospital in TJ. It is very clean and the staff is amazing. The doctors are knowledgeable. I chose Garcia I'm about to go into surgery in three hrs and so is my best friend we will keep posting as we go along

We are at Mi hospital Dr. Garcia is doing surgery on me n my best friend in three hrs so excited.

Just curious if anyone is having surgery the week of November 5-9 in TJ. I was supposed to have surgery today but had to reschedule for next Thursday the 8th

I am here now. Me and my best friend flew in from Louisiana to San Diego and are now in TJ we are having surgery in less than 3hrs. Very excited to be here excellent care and amazing doctors who have also had the surgery. This makes me feel more at ease. So excited to start this new journey with my best friend and use TJ Dr. Garcia as my doctor.
