Hello attractiveval! -- Garland --- I was sleeved on 8/23/12. I am 12 weeks today. I had my surgery at Presby Dallas. I have lost 42 lbs since surgery day. My highest weight was 314 -- surgery day I was 282 - and today 240.2. I go 3wks without losing then will drop 10 in 2 days. Well that has happened with 20 of the 42 I have lost since then. I went from size 22 to a 16/18 (depends brand). It was rough there in the beginning but now I can't say I really have any complaints. I still have hard time getting my 64oz of Water in but I was never good at that.
I am having my surgery at Presby Dallas also. Can you tell me how you liked the experience there and any pointers in general for the location? Thank you!!!

My date is December 26th.
I have been approved without seeing a nut, but I am seeing one tomorrow just to help prepare myself. I'm a person that likes to plan everything and its hard for me to feel like there are so many unknowns. I want to have everything on hand at home before surgery because it won't be possible to drive myself to get what I need afterward.

I am getting sleeved on June 27th.....Can someone tell me if I will quit sweating all the time. I have low thyroid and high prolactin levels. I also have PCOS. Of course' date=' I live in Texas and the temp here is triple digits everyday, but this is ridiculous..... even in 72 degree air conditioned house I am dripping. Can anyone out there relate?????? I am hoping that after the surgery, i will get rid of the excess ghrelin and it will go away.....[/quote']I was wondering if you are still around. I have very high prolactin caused by a pituitary tumor. Do you take medication for the high prolactin and how did that affect your surgery? Thanks!

Has there been a meeting set up yet? I would love to join. I'm not scheduled until 12/26, but I'm sure nervous. I want to attend the meeting in Plano but so far that day never works out.

I am a teacher so I am using Christmas break to recover. My date is December 26th. I am with Dr. Nicholson if Dallas. I start the diet on 12/12 but thankfully it's not straight liquids and I get 1 small meal per day, but no starches.
I'm so nervous and excited! I don't have any pre-op tests or anything until December 7th. I am thinking about the monthly support meeting even before the surgery. I am glad that I found the online.
