I'm in Philadelphia. I haven't been able to get liquids in. I'm not allowed Protein until Moday only Clear Liquids until then. I also haven't pooped yet but I guess I'm probably empty since I've only been drinking clear liquids for last three weeks.

I was May 6 also. I'm home and feeling good. I need to get more walking in but other than that I'm doing good.

Ok question...when did y'all have your first drink post op and what was it? My surgeon said no drinking at all for 6 months. My Lil sister is getting married this summer and I'd love to have a glass of wine at least.

I'm drinking Decaf tea and I only drink one cup in the morning. I drank some tea yesterday and it was decaf. I'm not allowed anything else and it's tough.

So I'm really having a hard time. My date is May 6th and I started my pre op diet on Friday. I have horrible headaches and no energy. My pre-op is liquids only 3 Protein Shakes, Water, tea and coffee. Oh and sugar free Jello and Popsicles. Did any of you have issues with pre-op diet. I'm seriously having a hard time. I don't have energy for anything. I have a very stressful job and I'm not sure how I will get they the week like this.

I use the myoplex strawberry shakes the ready made ones from the grocery store. I keep one on.my purse that way I'm.never with out one. The other one I got at the clinic. Vanilla torte...omg. it tastes just like a chick fil s vanilla shake. Its.delicious.I will have to try the vanilla torte. I got a vanilla from them that I don't like and can't decide what to mix it with to give a better flavor. I'm thinking of trying it in tea to make a chai latte. So you eat a lean Protein everyday? Let me know what they say about your liver tomorrow I've been so afraid to eat anything. I did cheat and have so e Peanut Butter today. I needed a different flavor!

I've never had anyone ask me' date=' yet. However, when my brother-in-law was having it done, I thought that he didn't really look big enough to have it done. Once I saw him after he'd lost the weight though, Holy Cow! I barely recognized him. I wonder if folks just get used to us looking the way we do and don't really "see" us.[/quote']Yeah I think they don't really see us. I wondered myself if I was big enough initially. And folks are always surprised by how much I weigh.
