Hello there First off, I hope that your surgery went well. I'm thinking of having my band to sleeve revision with Dr. Lopez in Guadalajara and I was wondering what your experince was like. I live in Michigan! It's Freezing up here! Used to live in Palm Beach. I will be enjoying the sun soon in Sunny Arizona at the end of the month. I'm Moving and I will be recovering there. I can't Wait. I can feel the Osteoporisis kicking in from all this snow and below 0 weather! Bye Bye Freezer!

I have 2nd, 3rd,4th and 5th guessed my decision to have surgery in mexico. I'm still not 100% with my decision. Then I think. What's the alternative? If I continue on this way I'm gonna die. I have read the posts on this site and the good out weighs the bad. So I'm moving forward. I pray that all goes well with the surgery. I've had family members tell me not to do it, that they dreamed I died in surgery and that totally freaked me out. Almost made me change my mind. Then I came back to my senses. I am also having surgery in march with Dr Lopez at MI Doctor! Think I will feel so much better about the surgery when its done.

No, but I will probably be driving in from Arizona. it's a 5 hour drive. If I leave at 6am I should be there around 11-12ish. There is a possibility that I may fly if my daughter can't come with me. I have to look up flight times. What time will you be arriving? Are you coming alone?

Love my sleeve so much, highly recommend Dr. Illan, would go back in a heartbeat.

Hello Giselle, I was suppose to have this surgery last year in february. I kinda chickened out, well I did. My health didn't get any better, in fact i gained about 15 more pounds. So I decided to go ahead with the surgery again this year. I was in a good place with my decision then my daughter calls me and says " I had a dream that you had the surgery and died so whatever you are planning don't do it." Scared the s**t outta me. I look at it this way. If I don't do something I'm gonna die anyway. So I'm continuing on with my journey. I let her know that God has my back and if I go (die) it was his will.

Yes Cathy is wonderful. I was suppose to have surgery with Dr Lopez last year when he was with a lighter me. When I found out he'd left them I tracked him down and rescheduled my surgery with his new company. I just feel more comfortable with the things I have read about him.

Hello Borders3, MI Doctor in Tijuana is a real Hospital. You might wanna look them up. That's where I'm having my surgery and have spoken to others that had their surgery there too and turned out just fine. Good Luck.
