  4. Hi LuvYou2Forever' date=' hope you're feeling better. I was VSGed on July 8th and im still riding that emotional roller coaster. I believe it is completely common and normal to feel crummy especially in the beginning. I get angry and frustrated easily and I know its because my mind wants to eat, even if my stomach doesn't or can't. Hang in there.[/quote']

It so were. Never realized how much my life revolved around food I'm 7 days post op and food never far from my mind when will this go away ????

  5. Oh my gosh  Me too! 7 days since sleeve and I have been starving at least 3 or 4. I have 3 more weeks of liquids  Lord help me!! I thought we weren't supposed to be hungry. That is what I read or I wouldn't have chose this.

  6. So, I just got home from my one week post op visit, even though I'm only 5 days, but my Dr is going out of town so we did it today. He said everything was perfect! I'm so excited, I've been so nervous that something was wrong because I've been having some pain in my upper abdomen and chest, but he said it's normal. It's just like pressure like I need to burp but can't. I've heard of people getting that feeling before, but it's so easy to automatically assume the worst. I am already close to 40 pounds down since January, which is unbelievable to me. I've never really been successful on any diet, so actually losing more than a few pounds is very exciting. Also, I was cleared for soft foods today, so I had a scrambled egg for dinner. I didn't even finish the whole thing. It's crazy, but I love it! Anyway I just wanted to share my thoughts with some people who kind of know the feeling!

i wonder why so doc make u stay on three week liquids and ither let u go to soft foods ?????i have to be on liquids for 2 more weeks boooo

  7. I was sleeved on July 15th and so far I am doing well. I am still struggling with my liquid goal of 80 ounces and Protein goal of 100grams

My problem is that I am still in liquid stage and I do from time to time have what i feel is hunger pains..I thought that would not happen for months.

i htought i was the only one i get hunger pain to and im still on the liquid diet everyone says how there not hungry at all but i am i wonder will it pass when we can move to the phase???

  8. I'm on day 6 of pre op diet and eat 1/2 cup of rice with chorizo(Mexican sausage),beans and bacon. I'm no damn good right now. My surgery is on July 31, i have to stay focused.

dont feel bad I cheated on day five then i was so scared that i never did it again i dont think one slip will hurt u just keep on track and it will be very hard. good luck

  9. Got sleeved on the 24th and other than minor gas pain, all things are going along well. I weighed myself today 3 days post op and I have lost five pounds already. I am so glad I did this. I know this is the best decision for me and I wish all of you sleevers the same, I will keep you all posted. Thanks for all your help.
