  15. I would probably choose to not speak to her anymore.about it .. Even though she is your best friend she could be more supportive even if she doesn't agree.. Look for support other places .. I love this forum and also I use Instagram a lot and love all the people I've met on there .. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Thank you Ldyvenus! I'm sure you will get to your goal of 185 I'll just keep trucking along and work my way down even if it's slower than I'd hoped for .. Any progress is progress I suppose Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. Thank you tenseintexas .. I don't feel so alone.. I'm sorry you are having trouble too.. I try and keep my carbs under 30 and my Protein 60-80 and I hope that eventually that will work.. I can't seem to get in over 1000 calories most days unless I get a skinny latte which I'm trying to stay away from. Have you tried pairing your protein with a sauce I've heard that can help get it down so it isn't so dry.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. I would say that 95% of my food intake is bariatric friendly , yes sometimes I have popcorn or a skinny latte .. But I also don't think weight loss is black and white .. I wasn't looking for an opinion necessarily on the quality of food that I'm eating but more on what people experienced 6 months out .. I know I'm not technically"stalled" but my weight loss compared to the beginning is slower than it was. I started at 260 and now I'm 185. I'm just nervous about being stuck at a certain weight when I have my goals set on a lower number and I'm sure other people have had the same thoughts .. I wanted to know what other people have experienced 6 months out Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. I'm 6 months into my journey and I feel like I'm going to be stuck at this weight forever! My body is arguing with me and I'm not winning this fight including pre-op I've lost a total of 75 lbs, "after" surgery I've technically only lost 55 lbs since August 3 and I feel like I'm failing at this .. I started at 260 pre op and now I'm 185.5 and I do eat what I'm supposed to although I'll admit I've had fall off the wagon meals (not quantity, quality) .. I know our body has stalls naturally but I'm just so worried that mine isn't going to budge past this point .. My weight loss has slowed and this month I've only lost 7.5 lbs and I just feel like I should still be losing 10lbs a month at 6 months out. Have any of you been through this!? Any advice? I'll take anything.. Im not even close to goal and I guess that's what scares me the most .. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  29. I have a Mirena and mine was all over the place.. It's due to the fat loss/releasing stored hormones.. It becomes more regular later.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  30. Don't worry! I stalled in week 3 .. It's the dreaded three week stall.. Everyone goes through it.. Consider it a right of passage.. And week 5 I gained 2 lbs! It's just your internal thermostat regulator adjusting your body is freaking out! Now, with that being said.. I freaked out too.. Just try and relax.. Do what your supposed to do and it will come off!! I'm 5 months out and including pre-op I'm down 72 lbs.. You'll get there!! . Also, look up the Instagram community for support too.. I use it and I love it Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
