3 Days Out Horrible Pain

What pain med and dosage are you one? And how often can you take it? -
They either do it on a tilt table or on a regular bed. They just take the BP while you're lying down, immediately after you sit up, and then again immediately after you stand.

My anxiety level is high today though I'm still 9 days out. I have anxiety disorder and its a little out of control today.

You need to have an ortho static blood pressure check. They will check it lying, sitting, and standing. This will give you a more accurate picture of whether or not your BP is bottoming out.

Wow, that's fast to go back to clinicals! I scheduled my surgery for the first week of Christmas break so I have 4 weeks to recover before I go back to 12hrs/day clinicals. You're a trooper for sure! I hope the pain lets up for you soon. Good luck with your studies! Are finals soon for you? Mine is Wednesday with pre-op being the very next day.

Good luck to everyone! This is really happening, guys, it's OUR month!!! Ahhhh!!! I go back and forth, back and forth on emotions. Happy, excited, anxious, terrified, depressed... it's such a ride. 10 more days for me!

Currently 26 pants and 3x tops. Realistic: 10/12 bottoms, large tops. Dream: 6/8 bottoms, medium tops. -
Yes, inconveniencing my family and also spending all our money. I'm paying out of pocket and we are scraping by for Christmas as a result. Oh well, I know it'll be worth it for them to have a more active, longer living mother and wife. Just wish it hadn't come to this.

I've had a really rough day too. When people talk about their holiday plans I become resentful that I can't make plans because of recovery time... Mad at myself for being fat and in this position.

Thanks for the support ladies. I've talked to her and husband and they do.not.get.it. They won't change, and neither have weight problems. I'm just so hungry and have a headache and am just in the mourning food stage. -

Loooove unjury. I too ordered the starter kit. The vanilla is outright delicious when made with skim milk. I like chocolate splendor too. -
I had the same problem with the bariatric advantage. Ugh that stuff was awful. But I loooove unjury!!! I'm not as crazy about the chicken soup as I wanted to be, but I find the other flavors to be delicious.

My dec 10 date was tentative. So I wasn't shocked when they said the 12th. I think this liquid diet is to keep our minds off of our nerves. I'm too pissed and hungry to be scared!
