Yes! Same here except My situation is some what diff. Had the sleeve done in Oct 2012 & thought with the down sizing & grehlin removal, losing weight would be effortless. My surgery was done in Costa Rica.

Your insight as to why you hit a wall will keep u on the straight & narrow but is a Big Help for the rest of us @ a stand still. Until I got into this site,my attempts @ losing weight were half hearted. Reading ur's & everybody else input means a lot. Thank you.

It's usually one of three things for me,1.Eating a no-no kind of food.2.Overeating or 3.part of a disease process, like faulty gallbladder, the flu, over abundance of bacterial growth in the gut & needing probiotics, etc. If u are experiencing digestive probes, hope you can narrow down your digestive culprit & ger to feeling better soon.

  6. I LOVE MFP: It's actually helping, and I love the support of others I am getting...BUT...I just feel so compelled to put stuff in my mouth, to eat. I know in the past it's like a switch and it's gone off, the switch, and there is such relief, and peace there. I just wish I could make a turn off.

I have an addictive personality & food is my drug.Looking ahead @ the long haul, this will prolly be a lifetime battle. From what others who have been successful are saying tho is don't fuel the addiction with certain foods that make it that much harder on yourself such as carbs.Once I wake that ugly beast up with cookies sodas, etc.it's much harder to gain control again. So none of that!! Also, the successful folks have upped their protein intake with good protein supplements...

  7. is it just me or does the site seem like it's being a little hokey?
