Hello November skeevers! I lost Seventy (70) since Dec 10th. I knew it would be rough going but ..... really nothing tastes as good as thinner feels. I am still a burly bear I still have a few pounds to take off, but it dropping at a steady pace. THE GOOD: I am wear now wearing the smallest pair of jeans I had stored in the closet from six years ago. My testosterone has surged, ( no further comment needed) and I feel like I am Twenty again. THE BAD: I still hurt, slime on occasion and still can't get all the protien I need to eat in . THE UGLY : my hair started to fall out, so I am now sporting a shaved head. I scare me in the mirror these days.

SLEEVED!!!!! It wasn't easy, but then again nothing worth having comes easy. The first might was rough, getting up and walking was the best counter measure for the gas pains, thank creation for morphine pumps. Second day drinking Water and juice was difficult , a cap full works. My doctor told me I would fell 80% better the third day and he was RIGHT!! sleeping (just relaxing and resting seems to be the key as well! Don't be discouraged, you repair rapidly!!

Well November sleever... At 8:30 am tomorrow the long loooooooong loooooooooong fisttating journey for cheap jeans and being able to see my feet ...and everything as well....will come to an end. (Mr. Happy was informed the catherter will be inserted while I am under and removed before I wake up!) December 10th is my new sleeve date. Looks like Santa will be packing surgical steel and a lathoscope!! The figgy-pudding is going to have to boiled, strained and pureed!! Still less than pleased about the catheter... no one needs to down that chimney... quick quick quick. Next post hopefully will be in the car headed to the hospital. Goooooooooo sleevers!

I was an adorable, fat, strong ,hungry hairy child who slept alot who grew up to become a ruggedly handsome, modest (ha!) fat, hairy 49 year old. I was originally scheduled to have surgery today (nov 20 2012) but Signa demanded one more visit to the dietician. Surgery is pencilled in on my calendar for Dec 10th. Be sure your insurance has cleared you for surgery before you get your heart broken! Good luck Yule sleevers

Happy Thamksgiving Sleevers. So thanks giving dinner was 6pz of turkey and 1 oz of blackberry wine. Though I am in limbo on a surgery date, I'm still on the preopt diet. i keep hearing the old quote in my mind, "Nothing feels as good as skinny feels" Nothing ever taste as good as skinny feels" (apparently Kate Moss never ate my mom's bourbon sweet potato pecan pie.) so .. Here is to being thankful for modern medicine, a new understanding of morbid obesity as a medical disease and.... The promise of a thinner New Year. We will rock December Sleevers.

Good Last week of November my fellow December Sleevers. We survived Thanksgiving on a diet, We are strong and determined souls. I just wanted to share my flakineess in prepping for this journey on a spiritual level. I have been working with a peer on Matrix meditation to excellerate my healing by resolving my past issues with the emotional pain of being morbidly obese all my life, the little injuries and slights that we have all felt on our walk through life. I hope all of you about to begin this new beginning will take a few minutes to pray, meditate and embrace our new beginning. Personally I fought all my life, (just as I fought to get this surgery I so desperately need) it will be wonderful to finally be comfortable and at peace in my own skin. (I'll save the fighting for the gym and the bargain hunters at the cheap skinny jeans and tshirt shops.) Peace be with you too €. Bear the Buddhist bubbha

Elder sleeve brothers... Did your feet thin out and your shoe size change? I am a 13 I or 13 eeee regulary. It would be great to actually buy shoes that do not look like two cheap caskets.

The Bear checking in: six days until surgery. My personal physician cleared me for surgery, the check for the doctor has been surrendered, I am pre registered at the hospital, and I am still not to thrilled about the catheter being shoved into mr happy..... But, excited to get this done. I was the Fat kid and suffered (until l learned to beat the shmit out the first instigator and the rest would leave you alone) my weight has made me strong, determined and one of life's fighters, bit I am so eager to say goodbye to it!!
