  1. Good for you! My surgery date 10/10/12. Lost 55 lbs and need to loose another 55. I exercise regularly bot I find myself cheating and eating the wrong things and more than I should! I need a pep talk to get back on track. I can't wait for spring and sunshine. This weather is getting me down. Evenings are the worst for me.
  2. I can eat like a normal resin. I am 4.5 months oat op with a larger sleeve. My Doctor says eat slower, follow phase 2 of South Beach Diet and stop when you feel satisfied(not full) I've lost 60 lbs so far. I do water aerobics 3x a week and light weights the other 4 days. I am 65 years old!

  5. I was to the point of pain where I went from the couch to chair to bed. I needed and had 2 knee replacements 17 months ago. Water exercise saved my sanity and helped me to exercise and improve my mood.
  6. I'm 4 months out and cleared not to have salad and raw fruits and veges ... So I had about a cup of air popped popcorn on 2 consecutive evenings and thought I was going to die! Had fullness feeling, hi cupping and belching . It's the first time I've ever had any problem with anything!
  7. Mine worked beautiful- did you blend everything in a blender? I used the hand held electric blender that I make my protein shakes in, spray a non stick pa with Pam, cook on med high fill bubbles start to form and flip .
  8. Did not see a picture
  9. The oatmeal blends into a flour when put in a small blender and mixed with the other ingredients. I poured it into a non stick pan and it made 4-5 small pancakes. Easy and very good!
  10. Made these for breakfast. I used 2 whole eggs instead of 3 egg whites and even my son the chef liked them!
  11. You are so funny! You should write a book ! I enjoy your humor . The truth is always better than fiction!

  13. You are just a young chick-- Congrats, our dates and surgery weights are the same but u did much better than I did! I'm 65 and can't wait to get under 200 lbs!
  14. You are so sweet to worry about me. With it so large, enough to hold 6 oz initially, I have had no nausea, vomiting or any problems at all !
  15. Yes it is a typo. I lost 47 lbs!
  16. I found out why I can eat more than most after sleeve surgery. I had a # 56 bougie used due to lower esophageal stricture. It's about one and a half times the size of what most of you had. Holds around 6 ounces. Lost ;7 lbs total including preop. Was sleeved 10/10/12.
  17. If I wasn't 65, had 2 artificial knees and sagging skin, I would like to sing and dance in Vegas!!!
