  3. You said "nearly" everything. At around 6 weeks out, I noticed a pattern of vomiting. Talked to my nutritionist and she said it seemed like i developed an intolerance to dairy. Sure enough, I was only vomiting after dairy, which included my protein powder. Never had a problem with it, even after surgery for the first few months. That's practically all i was eating. She said that happens to some people. I'm still not able to tolerate it. Maybe try to see if there is a pattern to the vomiting?

  11. Right now, I've been taking a lot of pills that a few puffs of marijuana would take care of. I eventually will start up again, but I just wanted to make sure I had a handle on this thing first. Dr. says I have to take one pill, wait 10 minutes, then take another. It takes soooooo long. I have fibro and some other auto-immune issues that marijuana seems to help.

  13. No. I was huffing and puffing after very little activity for at least a week.

  17. Ooo! I want one! Lol Sweetesttea@yahoo.com Thanks in advance!
  18. Congratulations on your loss! Glad you're feeling better.
  19. I am btwn 3 & 4 weeks out. I would like to look polished in my clothes. I've always been big on shapewear and supportive undergarments. I've tried to put them on but my stomach is still too tender and painful to be bound so tightly. Does anyone know from experience when will this get better? I know I'm still healing and that's the important thing... I am just curious. I miss my Spanx!
  20. I bought a can of the plain pureed pumpkin (not the one with all the seasoning). I used a little of that with the dannon diabetic friendly yogurt, my GNC vanilla Protein powder, a little light cool whip, one graham cracker and some pumpkin pie spices (for extra protein I add liquid egg whites). Oh, and a little ice ... Then blend. It made about 2 servings, but you can experiment with the ingredients.
  21. Thanks, Rainbow. Are you close to your date?

  23. Well, you know they travel in packs! I have lupus (primary), and 3 other auto-immune "friends". My doctor says to stay on the Plaquenil no matter how great I start to feel.

  25. Congratulations, DoxieVille! Remission is a fantastic place to be. I was concerned about the healing process because of my wacky immune system. It's been smooth sailing. I'm not sure if it is from the elimination of certain foods or what. I had no idea it could be like this.

  29. Ugh...bring me joy, not being. Autocorrect...
  30. Oops! Running, not thinking! ...but I have been thinking too.
  31. I was sleeved 2 weeks ago to the day. I'm back at the office for the first time today, and I feel great! My first time back in work shoes... I walked 3 blocks downtown, and I've been thinking all over the office since 6am...my feet don't hurt AT ALL! AAAAAAAAAHH! Even if I never lose another ounce (which I know I will), my surgery was worth it if JUST for this. It feels so good to get my life back. Just thinking of all the things that used to being me joy, and how I'll be able to get to do them more has me bursting with joy. I suffered with Lupus and RA (steroids...) and to get even a portion of the weight off made a hell of a difference. Yay! Sleeves! LOL!
