Hey everyone stay positive, keep up the good work...we will be successful. We can do it!
-
The reason for the difference is we are all different. We each have our own genetic make up, our bodies respond & react differently, some are taking meds that affect our weight loss, some are not getting all of what is needed after surgery even though they think we are. There are many variables. You just run you own race and you will all be winners!

Freja, don't be discouraged we all loose differently and don't cheat yourself of a great resource, this site. This site has be a wealth of knowledge for me. I've learned a lot to add to what I already knew.
Are you taking any medications still? I found that my meds are hindering my weight loss. So I know how it feels and what can do to your feelings & mind to see others going through the same thing at the same time and lose double, triple & quadruple the amount of weight! I had to tell myself that this was not a raise. I did this for my health more so than pounds lost. It will not hurt me if it takes me 12 months to get to goal just as long as I get to goal eventually. Keep in mind your genetic profile plans a big part in how your body responds. I will say don't get caught up in the pounds.Measure yourself weekly as I do you will see great change. And be rewarded with a week or two worth of NSVs from the tape measure, yourself & whomever you may have to help measure you...my husband gives the best NSVs! He cheered me up & cheers me on when I was feeling like you breifly. I have been stalled for 4 weeks, scales say not much has changed but the measuring tape says much has! So embrace this moment learn & grow from it. Plus, I'm sure it has been said but keep in mind the bigger a person is the more they will lose fast. And a plus for you to think about and this excites me...slower you lose the better it is for your skin to recover! Less need for plastics....all for that! Stay positive, keep reading because you are not alone sister. And guess what I am a December sleever, we are all in this together! Stay up beat...lol I ain't hard to find I'm always posting something....do some reflecting so you can see the bigger picture. Best of luck. Many blessings. This is a new year, time for new thinking and a new you! Shape up girl & get with the program!
XOXO

Very bizarre, I came home to let it pass...oh the bump was a huge one. Out riding on back roads...hold on babe here's a bump lol it used to be fun! Not today...I can honestly say it made me ill.
-
Very miserable. I'm much better but still feel horrible & never want to experience this feeling again! Thanks for asking...
-
I had eaten and went out for a ride with my husband. We hit a big bump and that was the worse pain ever since sugery & I'm still feeling the affects! The bump seem to have shaken my stomach contents and I immediately felt like burping or throwing up and having movement from the other end! This was/is horrible & scary! I dislike vomiting...still belching big & painful....gas rivaled gas pain after surgery! My husband was like oh Lord are you ok? I said no I feel I need to throw up!

I know that they warn of watery stool but I personally didn't experience it. It was the other end of the spectrum that bothered me. Today my dr. ofc wrote me rx for something to help me go! Oh an advised to let it run its course.
I do recall reading about this issue on this forum so check some of the other sections.

People can be cruel, even our on families. You must dig deep & go for what you know. My family doesn't know, only my husband so they eat whatever, whenever & wherever but I've grown accustomed to it. I've sorted all my life & I do recall early on it was hard but I conquered it. Good luck & perhaps they could be more considerate.
As for this weight journey GET ER DONE!
Me myself slow going but seeing progress. Already getting NSVs. Although the scale can no longer claim 22 POUNDS on my behalf! Lol I just realized that. BMI 37.4 & missing inches like crazy. And u can an actually see the difference in before & now pics. I am so motivated to be successful! I am looking forward to my after pic!

SD was 12.10.12 my incision & back has some pain & discomfort, allow body time to heal.

Woohoo! Feels good...

Amen!
Hence being on this forum, we are all that at one time or another.
I acknowledge all posts but I only take from that which I need or can prove to be beneficial to me. I also try to be mindful & considerate because we all are different shapes and sizes & our sensitivities varies as such when it comes to the subject of weight!
We all are on the same journey but we each will take our own path & that's what make this & use each unique!
Come on guys life is TOO SHORT...

Man, I have mixed feelings about weight loss...slow but I'm getting better, sleeping better heck I even jogged a little the other night and the aches & pains are not so bad. The scale is being stingy but I am starting to see change so I'm hopeful.
I hope you all ate were you wish to be and if not keep pressing on!
Best of luck,
CJ
