Hey congrats on loss! Aside from infection you sound like all us well. I had to do 10 day Enoxaparin Sodium Injection it was not a big deal since I had done HCG Injections, but I will say the last 2-3 border on painful with little more burn than usual. I'm losing slow but losing all the same. I plan on doing liquid diet until Jan 1 then moving to purses. Hopefully, it aids in a loss if not no harm. Also, plan to step up my exercise. I plan on being a HUGE success! Good luck & keep in touch.

Cool, what where your high lbs, surgery lbs & current lbs? How are you feeling, healing & eating? For me so far everything has been bearable. Guys try some magnesium citrate & add magnesium calcium citrate and miralax to diet...trust me you will be happy you did so...I'm Ms. IBS! Meds & vitamins/minerals will back you up...good luck.

I was told no NSAID only tylenol products.

I'm a slow loser too but I'm happy about it. No really pumped about losely large amounts so swiftly...plus steady works for me. Remember any weight loss is a huge accomplishment! Surgery weight 256 checked out 257.4 today 247 been at that weight for a few days...it's all good! In due time it will melt...

Standard seem to be 2wks, more movement/duty 4wks and 6wks total heal time. I was given 3wks but will request additional time for my sake. I don't want to go back to soon only to have to go back out on leave.

Well, I've paid for one TT believe if a 2nd is needed I will be paying for it & returning to same surgeon. TT is no joke! 6 wk heal time, hip to hip scar! This surgery is more traumatic than a C-section. Trust me I've had both C-section 1992 & TT in 2003. Please do your research!

I'm sorry, please stick to it! You don't want any complications. Well at least I don't! I'm on liquid2-3wks & gosh darn it, so be it! I'm a wuss...I have phobias so I'm not trying to throw up or have feeding tubes etc. to contend with.

Aww Donny, sorry...it was cool though. Held on 13th & no he didn't make drinks but he read us a story as we exchanged secret Santa gifts. A lot of his patients were there. It was good seeing the various surgery, stages & outcomes. You must make next yr. Are you a member of his fb group? That's how I found out but I also had an appointment in late Nov that they told me about it.

In my follow up visit, it was reiterated No Solid Food Period! To let my stomach & body heal plus to avoid any possible complications from foods! I'm cool with clear liquids the full liquids for the 2 wks

Had follow up appointment yesterday. It went well. Staples removed. Lol was told not to worry about weight or stall because Dr. Office will not consider me a weight loss patient for 6 weeks. I'm to just recover from surgery. It's official, out the blocks I'm a "slow stalling loser"... I'm actually thankful for it. Because the inches lost are amazingly noticeable. Stalled 6 days! Today believe the stall is broken. High-265 Surgery-256 9 day-247.6 BMI 38.4

Horror stories help keep you on the straight & narrow....I'm thankful for them. And so far all is well with me at 5 days postop.

I would just take in small amounts no more than 3oz even though you can take more. You don't want to stretch your stomach or cause a leak. I would play it safe. Simply because I don't wish to be weary or miserable and perhaps call Dr. Monday....I feel I can take in more but I do not. Best of luck.

In time for Good Will, The Salvation Army & local shelters to benefit. I'm like ok my biggest pair of jeans started falling off me last week....I'm not dying to go shopping but when I see (8) I'll ve eager to shop. Believe 10-12 live in my closets. I could be content at that size but goal is to hit single digit & lose at least a Century mark. I'm a bit nervous because now I'm all out of reasons & excuses for why I'm hanging on to all these clothes. I will never fit again that's to my new tummy! So I think I'm going to clear out everytging too big. Then get rid of items weekly. Sounds like a good plan...I'm off to the main closet!
