I was sleeved Feb 14th and I had had mirena for about 3 years and never had any issues with it. Since being sleeved I have been having a dark bloody discharge. Its not a lot b ut always there when I wipe. Anyone else had this issue with mirena that has been a long time prior to surgery? If so how long before it went away?

In hospital it was clear liquids and then next day I was home and started on pureed my next full day so it was technically 2 days from surgery I started pureed. I am on pureed for 4 weeks then soft for 4 weeks then regular diet. Pureed is not my favorite but it beats liquid diet lol. You sure do learn to become a mixologist. I never knew I was so creative with food lol. So far my favorite has been albacore tuna, plain chobani greek yogurt and hot picklesm it tastes just like it should with all the flavors blended nicely, it is a little gritty but for taste and consistency I have enjoyed it (:

As everyone else stated I think we all think similarly. I still worry I will not loose enough weight and then all this for nothing! I am 6 days post op. I lost 16 # on liquid diet and so far only 5# post op. I still am wearing the same clothes HOWEVER they do fit better. Then I think man these must of been super tight lol. You just have to get in the right mindset that you want to change your life and move forward to getting healthy. And you have started that process already (great job). This is a wonderful TOOL but you still have to do all the work. I too am never hungry and unless I had the goal I probably wouldn't eat or drink lol. I have reached the 200#'s and I haven't seen those in YEARS! This is what encourages me and strive to do better. YOU CAN DO THIS! this site 99% of the folks here are supportive and love to share and encourage us. I find myself on here often because everyone here is like me and you.

Anyone only able to sleep on one side? I can only sleep on my left side and of course I'm a rightside sleeper lol. My hips are falling asleep so I decided to try again tonight and yeah... I got stuck in bed so my husband had to pull me out so I could lay on my left side ha #defeatedbutnotbroken

Wow 10 days out? Seems early but I know every ones surgeons are different. I have noticed that eating 3 times a day I'm drinking less! I need to stay on the schedule or I get all thrown off! Maybe add 2 meals after another week? You will figure out what works best (:

I did not get any blood thinners when I was conscious anyway lol And I have never had issues before with it so that is why I was surprised. Thank you all for your input

I used the strips but I dont know if it helped all that much. I think btwn the benefiber and stool softner those did the job.

I take bariatric advantage chewable calcium chews. They are yummy and taste like I am eating candy (: they come in raspberry, chocolate, citrus (I think) and caramel (my fav). And you grt pieces of "candy" a day lol

I called and they are not worried. they think I just over did it. And due to the incisions not being red, warm or hard they said unless more issue they will see me next week.

Congrats you guys!!!! I'm slow to move that scale:( but its ok its still moving. I'm down 20# today

Ok I am 5 days post op and one of my incisions scab came off. Should I be concerned? I have another one that is coming up and is leaking what appears to look like puss? Its not warm, tender or anything else like that. Anyone else have this issue?
