Nena124: It still has not hit me yet.. I mean I have started to get prepared here and there. This week I am hitting it hard. I actually just too some Milk of Magnesia to get things going. I start my liquid diet on th 13th. I only have to do a week. I go to the bathroom 1 or twice a day. so I am curious to know what I will need post-op to stay regular.

I am curious about this too, My surgery is 12/20 too

This is great information. .as to I am having my surgery with Dr. Kim on Dec. 20th..so far I judt paid the scheduling fee of 250.00 I have my cardiac testing on the 11th...and testing at the hospital on the 7th

My revision is scheduled for Dec. 20th..with Dr. David Kim..so far his staff has been amazing..check him out.

Yay for you. I am having my band removed by Dr. Kim as well. He didn't do my band-it was done by Dr. Benavides with True Results...anyway. My surgery is December 20th..so excited. I can't wait for a nu me..lol!

Yay for us...I was just looking at my schedule of appointments...I know it's going to go by so fast. .I am going to start picking up some things too...like some strecthy pants..vitamins..and chicken broths...I'm so ready...

I have been a VST lurker for long enough. I just wanted to come on and share my date-which is December 20th. I currently have the lapband. I got the lapband in December 2009 and six months later I got pregnant. After having my daughter in March 2011...I started back on my fills. Well I got sick from the tightness..got unfilled..and it just wouldn't keep any saline. So here I am going for a revision...I am so excited. I was approved on the first submission to my insurance-AETNA. Looking forward to being on the losers bench.

I'm pre op and started the Mirena in Jan 2012..it is great. I wanted that because I knew I wanted a revision soon from lapband to VSG..because 6 mos after getting my band I got pregnant with our first child. ..so now once I start losing weight again i will not have to worry about getting pregnant and gaining that weight back..
