Hi everyone. I didn't place a prayer out here last week but I continued to pray for healing for everyone. As week prepare for another week don't forget that God is God. He the same yesterday, today and forever and he never lies. The word says he is a healer then guess what? He's a healer. The word says he will never leave us if forsake us. Then we should never worry about being alone. He is our Father, the protector, provider, friend he just all that. I want everyone who has subscribed to this trend just to think about the goodness of God and reply with who God is to you and start thanking God in advance for the great praise reports that we have heard and continue to hear from our VST family. God is all powerful, wonderful, gentle, kind, light is darkness, strength in weekness, peace, covering, mighty warrior, and great King. Thank you for your word which gives us life. We believe our bodies are healed, minds are renewed, and we are delivered from all sickness and disease that we may life better lives in serving you. Amen! Make it a great week :-)

I love God and I love to pray! We all have made a life changing decision to improve our quality and quantity of life. It took a lot of faith to get to this point. Let's lift up each other daily in prayer. Unity in prayer causes miracles.

Tbaby there is no scripture for elective surgery in the word. But if u believe that god directs your life, every phase of this process should be lifted up in prayer. I ask the lord his will be done, not mine and block it if it were not for me. I had surgery on 10/29 mininmal pain, no clots or leaks this is truly a gift. For our bodies are his temple and I am forever grateful to god for the gift. Be blessed

Don't forget to pray for our sleeve brothers and sisters this week. Father we declare they are already healed walking in destiny. Steady the surgeons hands and mind and all that surround him/her. We thank you in advance for no leaks, a perfect sleeve seam, no blood clots, or bleeding in the name if Jesus. Amen

It received some great advice from LovelyPea. I told her that my mother was nervous about me having surgery, she told me to remember you're going this to improve your health. She suggested taking photos of myself. I took the photos with bra and panties on all view. All I can say is OMG. I've never taken a full length picture if myself; seeing this really gave to the perspective I needed. It's about improving my health. Dec 10th here I come. I can't wait to take photos along the way. Excited!!!!!

My sleeve date was Nov. 19th! I'm home and learning about my new life. Before my surgery it helped to read the different post about the surgery and take all that information in. So I'll add two cents!
The weekend before surgery I was getting pretty antsy. My husband took care of that! Movies, church, manicures and pedicures...he was with me and kept me busy and he kept telling what a good choice I was making...love him.
Morning of surgery in the hospital by 6:30 for baseline blood work. Oh dear, maybe a little dehydrated...maybe a little nervous but I almost passed out while they were drawing blood. So drink up and don't look...it's never bothered me before but it did that day! Good news it passed within five minutes!
The next part was a whirlwind! Some paperwork, start my IV, saw the doctor, hubby in the room, kisses, and then rolling up to surgery! Started asking me what I did over the weekend, said I went to see
Lincoln and it was a great movie and boom....I'm waking up in recovery!
The rest of Monday was a bit rough because of my meds... I didn't gell well with all the pain meds and the patch behind my ear! I ripped that patch off and quit taking the pump I asked for just meds for the nausea. I walked about every two hours all night and took several gas x strips. By the morning...nausea was lifting!
Bottom line...don't be afraid to ask, walk, and do what is best for you!
Leak test was on Tuesday morning...it was fast...they got me in and out quickly. Doctor came by and wanted me to stay a second night. Did a lot more walking and resting between the bed and the recliner in the room. I'm glad a had my pillow it probably was mental, but it helped me rest! And oh yes the clear liquid diet...best sugar free Popsicle ever! In fact it seemed too sweet!
What did I need at the hospital? Brought my light weight housecoat and I used it. Slippers....I ended up just staying in their socks. Gas x strips were golden. My pillow, my I pad and phone because you can only watch hospital tv for so long!
Most important....if possible bring a supportive person!! I spent time telling my husband about what was going to occur, my fears, and hopes. It was nice to have him to help out so much!
So now I'm home learning to get everything in which takes some planning. But I'm doing it! I'm out walking, and taking everything one day at a time. I'm thankful.

Started at 242. Had my surgery 8/21/12, I'm 202 today. I feel great.

I have two special sleeve sisters having surgery tomorrow. Let's join together in prayer and cover their them and all our sleeve family in prayer. God, King of King, Lord of all Lords we honor you tonight with praise. Knowing that each person having WLS and other procedures this week are covered by and through the blood of Jesus. According to your word you said that by your stripes we are healed. Meaning that healing is already taken place. No weapon formed against us shall prosper, we declare that all distractions that attempt to rise up in our minds, body or spirit that they ate castes down into the sea of in forgetfulness. We declare the surgeons instruments are covered in the oil of The Lord. We declare we our made whole and eyes have not seen nor ears heard what you have in store for our bodies. We will continue to give you all the glory, honor and praise. We love you and thank you for your love. In Jesus name. Amen

Today I know someone is having WLS. Father order the doctors hand, give him or her a clear mind that he or she make operate with precision and no mistakes. I declare miracles in the healing of every incision down to the smallest stitch. I declare nurses and staff that will do the work and will of The Lord that your name be glorified. Peace beyond understanding for our minds and endurance to our spirits for this is first of the best days of our lives.
