Congrats on making positive steps to change your life. My surgery date is Dec. 10th took me a while to decide that surgery was a good option fit me. My insurance required a 6 six weight loss program which I completed in April. When I first started my weight was 365. My current weight us. 343, I trying to loose as much weight as I ca lm before surgery.

Try the group exercise classes. I hate the machines at the gym. Free weights help as well.

I'm African American and our holidays are over loaded with food and family. I've told my family and they are very supportive. We recently had a family cook out and I noticed there were a lot more healthy choices.

Dec 10th is my date too! 50 days away. I just finished working out, getting my mind and body ready for the big change. Congrats!!

Today I know someone is having WLS. Father order the doctors hand, give him or her a clear mind that he or she make operate with precision and no mistakes. I declare miracles in the healing of every incision down to the smallest stitch. I declare nurses and staff that will do the work and will of The Lord that your name be glorified. Peace beyond understanding for our minds and endurance to our spirits for this is first of the best days of our lives.

If you have sought God's counsel and direction in making this life changing decision disregard and forgive your friends comment. It sounds like she has some unanswered questions and concerns about you having surgery. Explain to her as a friend her support is appreciated but remember it isn't necessary. Jesus died that we might have an abundant life. An abundant life starts with a healthy body.

I believe in The Lord Jesus Christ. It's all about having a personal relationship with him; not about religion. Religion is what keeps you in bondage.

The prayer.. Lord we love you and you're Our Father. We can and will do all things through Christ who gives us our strength. We declare that the decision we had made lines up with your will and that you continue to be the healer and helper that your are. Everyone under going surgery or have had surgery will have a steady recovery. We declare no leeks, dehydration, healthy mental attitude, and strength to endure. In Jesus name. Amen :-)

I love God and I love to pray! We all have made a life changing decision to improve our quality and quantity of life. It took a lot of faith to get to this point. Let's lift up each other daily in prayer. Unity in prayer causes miracles.

I'm per-op and I'm going to start working on my thighs. Thanks for posting the exercise suggestions.

Yes God is amazing it takes a lot of faith to even think about the idea of surgery.

Aetna is a hard nose insurance company. I hope you lose the weight by weigh in time. Correction you will lose the weight by weigh in time.
