  1. Woohoo! Congrats!
  2. I personally still get hungry. Your stomach isn't the only organ that makes ghrelin. It's definitely no where near what it was before. If I haven't eaten in 4-5 hours, I get hungry. But I get full really fast! The sleeve works!

At 3 weeks out you might want to stick with string cheese, yogurt, lunch meat, hummus

    I'm 3 months out
  5. I think at this point you just need to worry about getting in water and protein. I didn't count calories until soft foods and I think I was only getting about 400 calories at that time.
  6. You can't see ratings on my phone. Maybe that's a good thing haha!
  7. My doc said it can hold approximately 6 ounces.
  8. Good luck, Jess! Glad you're getting this show on the road!
  9. Laura I was sleeved 10 days before you! We are sleeve sisters!
  10. I was on maternity leave when I had my sleeve. I didn't feel a need to eat at that time but if I stayed hpme now I probably would! Try to avoid watching a lot of TV. That's when I would binge....at night in front of the tv! Maybe try knitting, reading, picking up an instrument, getting a treadmill or recumbent bike. Cleaning, like you said. Keep yourself busy. Right now I'm working, going to school, and have a 4 yr old and 5 month old so I keep busy....it helps. Still when I do have down time, the tv is my trigger. So I keep it to a minimum.
  11. Love it!
  12. 3 months post op and I specifically said 1200 for someone who hasn't had the surgery. I get in 900-1000 a day without exercise and have lost 51 pounds in 3 months but everyone is different. Just find what works for you.
  13. The minimum for a woman without surgery is 1200 so I think you'll benefit at 900 a day without exercise. You don't want your body to stay in starvation mode. That's my logic anyway. I'm no nutritionist.
  14. Zombie hairpocolypse!!!!
  15. Go somewhere like Plato's Closet...they buy your clothes.
  16. If your hair is still soft and healthy and you hate the blonde, I would just color it back. Depositing color is not as damaging as lifting color.
  17. Ehh rules are made to be broken! What did you use? Bleach?
  18. Just color it back dark
