  1. I used my sample of vanilla my NUT gave me just yesterday. I made a 10oz drink, mixed it with vanilla ff Greek yogurt, some frozen mangos, a pack of stevia, and half a scoop of unjury. It. Was. Vile. So medicinal and chalky. And I love vanilla back to the drawing board!
  2. I thought mine stopped but I just got bombarded again. Ugh. They're multiplying like bunnies!
  3. And if you try to talk with it on you'll frighten small children and pets because you sound like an asthmatic Darth Vader...
  4. I'm not even sleeved yet and get that way just watching what I'm eating. My fiancé came home this morning with my favorite cracker barrel Breakfast, while it looked delicious I just felt nauseous thinking about chewing and swallowing it. I think with all we've prepared for and done for this step in our lives a teeny part of brain looks at food as the reason we've done so much. Food is bad. And that part of brain sometimes screams over the part saying "you've gotta eat to live, dummy." Focus on the nutrients you have to get from what you're eating and not the actual act of eating, if that makes sense. Eventually your brain will realize food isn't an evil force but a tool for living this awesome new life you've tried so hard to get
  5. Ah. Strange how doctors differ so much on so many things. My doctor is ADAMANT about NSAIDs but my first week on here I saw lots of people take them. They need a unified handbook
  6. Caraface first. And I'd guess 30-60 minutes before anything else. It's a band-aid for your stomach.
  7. Second opinion time! I have a BMI of 48 and that qualifies me for everything but the DS, and the BMI has to be 50 for that. Insane that they won't sleeve you. I'd go for that anyway, so many complaints about the band. But get a second opinion or talk to someone else on the team. The dietician stepped over the line. It's not her job to make these decisions for you. Her concern is food and Vitamins. Period.
  8. The only side effect I've noticed is things don't "move" like they used to. No big deal though
  9. This would be a good reason to have gas! I didn't think were any lol. Good luck! I'm near Louisville, KY. (Actually by henryville, IN where the tornado hit this year) and they're preparing US for wind damage and rain even. Good luck to you! Keep us posted!
  10. TOM- time of month TTC (this one confused me)- trying to conceive
  11. I understand insurance can be a pain and money is always and issue, but are you willing to die for it? No matter the cost, Fluid around your stomach needs to be fixed.
  12. Anyone having unpleasant side effects?
  13. The exhaustion from fibro alone is bad, I can't imagine that with apnea :/ my ex's mother has ms and fibro and lyrics works wonder for her. She gained a little weight but it was worth it for her. What meds did they give you? I've heard good things about Cymbalta, and Nucynta was to be my miracle drug, but I was in the tiny percentage that had CNS depression. Keep fighting! We're here for you. I know it's exhausting being the squeaky wheel but it's so worth it in the end, I'm sure this is no exception
  14. I have pretty severe fibro. Like Iggy, Lyrica made me gain about 50 pounds and barely worked. Not to mention even WITH insurance was ridiculously expensive. I feel your fibro pain to an incredible degree. I also have had adverse reactions to most meds so the only thing that even helps is an opiate. I do NOT wish this for you or anyone. I'm not yet sleeved but I can definitely help you with fibro support. I'm sorry you're dealing with this :/
