  1. Well I was the 21st but they bumped me up to Monday so tonight is my last night of solids. Clear liquid starting when I wake up. I'm scared to death lol but really excited for a month from now when I'm hopefully out of clear liquids

  4. The hospital just bumped my surgery from Wednesday to first thing Monday morning which means I start my liquid diet tomorrow! Ack! I'm not ready! My house isn't clean, I haven't done my grocery shopping, I don't even have the stuff I need for surgery. Crap! I'm scared out of my mind. My BP was 179/107 at the doctor today after they told me! That's NEVER happened to me before!

  6. And I just read over this again, you won't get a DS with a decent surgeon when your BMi is so low, OP. I've got a BMI of 48 and still don't weigh enough for the switch.

  8. When's your surgery date? Mine's the 21st and I've been asking my fiancé repeatedly how his catheter was (he had brain surgery.) It wasn't bad according to him, but he did pee on the nurse when it was being removed. I think you and Mr.Happy will be just fine

  10. I'm the 21st, too! My mom and fiancé and I are having our thanksgiving this Saturday it's my last meal lol. People think I'm crazy for picking the day before thanksgiving but I want to already have my new stomach to be thankful for

  12. Are you referring to the drops? Because the ones I've seen are sublingual drops. But I'll stick with my peppermint sublingual tabs for now

I was offered surgery this Thursday, but turned it down mainly because I want to reflect on every Thanksgiving as a day to remember
  17. My insurance approved me this evening and wanted to operate on Thursday! I don't have my supplements ready so my surgery will be the 21st... Omg omg omg!!!! I'm excited and panicked and holy crap... Eeeeeeekkk!!
