I'm takeing it one day at a time

  9. krazy... how is everything comeing along now
  10. lol... Ur right about that
  11. I agree.with the statements above.. you NEED to see a different.bariatric doctor. someone who specializes in all these issues
  12. I need to get off this forum bc this is just getting annoying!!!! whoooo caressssss
  13. I'm fat ... rathers its genetics or an obsession/addiction... lack of willpower... I'm having surgery... get the f*ck over it.
  14. Wtf.... well I at least killed a whole day reading this nonsence. It was almost as good as Maury! Didn't your mothers teach u if u have nothing nice to say.... don't say anything at all
  15. all I can say .. since I'm not getting surgery untill the 26th of feb... is after the honeymoon phase is over you can eat what u want in moderation. if u deprive urself of everything ull probably end up back to where u started. with that being said... you gotta use.comment sense. it doesn't mean go fry everything and have a bucket of fries. AND btw u can still eat noodles... just make sure they are what noodles
  16. well of course but I'm surer there's plenty of standards... protien shakes.. blenders... vitamins. just wanted to know what everyone did
  17. I have seen some similar threads here but I figured ide start my own also..... if u could give me a list of what I would bee to stock my fridge with and medicine cabinet with... what would it be. I'm going to have surgery in mid February ( hopefully) and I wanted to start stocking up.
  18. well congrats on that!!!! I can't wait I've been waiting.g wayyyy to long
  19. Woooow.. small world. I realllly like them a lot. I started this whole process back in may. they are really great there.
  20. I am also in Cincinnati but I go to dr Northup at mercy fairfield! I did have my.surgery scheduled for January 15th but due to lapse in insurance.for a month its now had to be pushed back for a month also. soooooo therefore it'll now bbe in February sometime.
  21. true.. but I get to know "my girls" on a more intimate level since there isn't hundreds of us on there.
  22. yeah... I lost about 10 lbs but gained it back... I got a drs appt next Friday so I need.to start eating n fasting so Ill llose again... I will b having surgery in February ... and fyi I see u will have Ural in January ..we do have a.facebook group going for January sleevers... if u wanna join let me know
  23. I wanted the band for about 5 months into my 6 month insurance required diet. I NEVER wanted the sleeve bc I didn't want major surgery. I wana scared. I joined the lapband forum and.a facebook forum (which I am still apart of bc they are great people so if u want both sides lemme know and ill add u to the group so u can get both sides of the fence) and got tons of useful info. One thing I did notice was the very slow weightloss among a lot of the.ladies. I'm talking months into the surgery and 20 lbs Max. I hear a lot of people just waiting for up to 6 to 8 months to finally reach the "green zone". One day I watched a video that made me totally change my.mind. I loveee food. The smell .. the taste... and even the thought of it. This video .. made by a dr... who performs both surgeries pointed out... with the lapband you have to restrict yourself and the sleeves basically gives you no choice. Right then I knew which Wat I wanted to go bc I know me. Plus I still haven't.come across a single.person that has a.band have one in for more than 10 years. Well in 10 yrs I'm o.lying gonna be 41 and if u loose the band your stomach goes back to normal and you'll be back to dieting for the rest of your.life. I know whats best for me and I'm confident with my decision. Only you can make the right decision for u
