  1. I've taken Tylenol pm since day after sleeve. My Dr. said it was fine.
  2. I can't get past the smell of the yogurt. It all smells really bad to me. Everyday I Hope that today is the day I'll be able to eat without forcing it. I'm hoping that day will be tomorrow!
  3. I have tried Greek yogurt. I will myself to tolerate it but I just can't. Lol
  4. Shakes now upset my stomach. I wish i liked yogurt or cottage cheese but I can't eat either of them. I tried every brand and flavor.
  5. I was sleeved on October 11th and since then, I hate eating. The thought of a meal make me want to cry. Even the thought of chewing make me want to puke. I have no desire for food. Does anybody else feel this way.
  6. Can definitely see the difference. Keep up the good work!
  7. In not getting many carbs at all what are good carbs to try?
  8. I'm 5 weeks out and I'm also very tired. It's to the point that I'm getting on my own nerves yawning all the time! Thinking it's because I'm still struggling with eating enough. When I get that fixed, hopefully the fatigue will go away.
  9. I am 24 days post op and still having trouble eating. I just had one boiled egg and I'm so full! Now protein drinks upset my stomach. Having trouble with protein and liquids. Other than that I feel fine, back to normal. How long will it be until I can eat somsthing and it not be a chore? One good thing is that it doesn't bother me when people around me eat. I don't even crave.
  10. I was sleeved on the 11th and drove on the 13th. I was allowed as long as I wasn't taking pain meds, and I wasn't. Didn't take any at all.
  11. Hi Angie, you will be fine, just remember to get up and walk a soon a possible and to take small sips at first!
  12. I was sleeved on the 11th. I've been on puree since Monday the 22nd.
  13. I just had 3 bites of tuna and that's all I could eat. Feel like I ate 3 plates full at Buffet!
  14. I pureed a meatball with some ricotta cheese and a little gravy, that was good. Was just able to eat a very small amount. I also tried pureed chili with beans. I don't really like beans but when you puree, you can't really taste them and they are a good source of protein.
  15. I was sleeved on 10/11/12 and I could care less to ever eat. I make myself but I can't eat more than 1/4-1/2 cup of anything and that is pushing it. Things don't taste the same. I was a big water drinker but now it tasted like metal.
  16. Ok thanks. I did not weigh myself since Monday until today. I was hoping for a couple pounds loss. I am going to do more protein shakes again. Hopefully that still break my stall.
  17. I was sleeved on Oct. 11 th. I lost 12 lbs the first 10 days and have been stalled ever since! Very frustrated! Isn't it to soon for such a stall? I'm not getting quite the protein or liquids I should but I'm doing my best and I'm walking and back to work already so I'm never just sitting around. I'm moving all day.
  18. My sleeve was on a Thursday, I took the following week off but I really could have gone back the Monday after surgery. I did stay in hospital over night.
  19. I tried it. I finally have to accept that I don't like yogurt, any brand or flavor! Life would be so much easier if I liked it lol
  20. I was sleeved on 10/11/12. I didn't have any real pain, except for soreness at the main incision. Nothing bad. I did Not use morphine pump in hospital or any pain meds at home. My biggest problem was gas. Walking and gas x strips really helped. I did have some discomfort when swallowing the first couple of days but that is gone. Someone told me to blow out all my air through my nose before swallowing my liquids and that did help. You swallow less air that way. Good luck!
  21. I bought the cheesecake pudding and made that. I will try the yogurt mixed with that tomorrow. If I don't like it,I will finally give up on yogurt!
  22. @Italiangurl. Did you talk to your surgeon today. Does he agree with the ER diagnosis?
  23. I started stage 3 today. I had a scrambled egg. It took 1/2 hr. to eat but so far so good. Could not have eaten anymore if I wanted to.
