I just hit the 50 pound mark and decided my closet needed an overhaul. I pulled out 50 pairs of pants in sizes 16w, 16 and some 14. I am going to sell them at a garage sale next month, but if anyone is interested and local, I am happy to show them to you. They are 5 dollars each and most are work pants. I also have about 10 pairs of jeans. I cant take pics of each individually, but if you are looking for something specific, send me an email. All are in excellent shape and 90 percent have dry cleaning tags still attached.

Where are you? I just cleaned out my cliset and have a bunch.

I lived on Tomato Soup during the liquid stage. Not everyone's doctor allows it, so i would ask first. It was nice to have something with some taste. I am 3 weeks out, down 22 lbs since surgery and just cleared today for regular food after 2 weeks of puree. You'll do great. Good luck with the surgery.

Are you on pureed yet? I am 3 weeks out today and have an Isopure shake with 4 oz skim milk and 4 oz of Water for Breakfast every day. I add a sugar free Torani Syrup or some powdered Peanut Butter and it is almost 30 Proteins. (25 for 1 scoop of Isopure and 4 for the skim milk. ) I have egg whites for breakfast and purée chicken or turkey for dinner. It allows me to get my Protein in. Water....that's another story...can't seem to get that in. Their are some really yummy Protein Shake recipes on the egg face website. Good luck.

I am 12 days out and took pills whole with the doctor's okay from the minute I left the hospital. My blood pressure pill is a time release so it couldn't be crushed. So far, no issues. I do space my pills throughout the day now instead of taking them all at once.

Hi there. I was sleeved on the 7th and went home on the 8th. I feel very fortunate that I haven't really felt any pain or nausea. I am struggling a bit to get my full fluids in and Protein and have been averaging only 35 Proteins and 40 ounces of liquid. The shakes are so sweet it is hard to get them down. Yesterday, I tried Tomato Soup and it was fantastic. (4oz). I bought some frozen fruit and am going to try that in a shake with some orange Vitamin Water zero and a scoop of protein. I need something other than this chalky shake taste. I also drove for the first time yesterday, but just locally. I am down 10 lbs since surgery and quite thrilled.

We can all get through this together and in a few months will hopefully forget about the nausea, bloating and the disgusting taste of the barium drink during the leak test! I am waiting for the nurse to discharge me and cant wait to go home to my own bed. I feel so tired- i don't know how anyone gets any sleep in the hospital- things are always beeping.

Yeah!!!! I got sleeved today and am ready to move to the loser's bench. I feel surprisingly good. I know everyone says the 2nd day is harder, but i have been walking up down the halls of the hospital in hopes of limiting gas pains. How are the rest of today's sleever doing?

I am in the same boat, but my surgery is this Wednesday, the 7th. I did all my pre op testing, but can't get in touch with my PCP for clearance. I am starting to panic!

Nov 7th for me also. Let the journey begin!

I got my insurance approval today (surgery Nov 7th). I am starting to feel a bit " holy c$&)(, this is actually going to happen." I am sure it is just nerves. This forum has been such a help to me as a pre-sleever. Thank you to everyone who shares their journey. Looking forward to being on the other side!
