  1. Try Chike you have to order online, they have samples. Syntax Nectar has lots of flavors, you can also Google samples for them I got all of them for I think $14. Unjury is also good and they have samples you can order online as well.
  2. Way to go! You look great!
  3. LadyIvy I am pretty new here and have not had my surgery yet because I have to do 6 months of dieting and be monitored. I probably won't be sleeved until February. This forum helps to keep me sane while I wait. I take what I need from it and leave the rest. I am learning things that a book does not tell you. I am amazed at all the great people on this site. I have seen post where people have offered to talk to and befriend people who were in a really dark place in their life. I wish all the best for you on your journey and hope that you find the support that you need.
  4. Good luck and blessings to you!
  5. I think that you are not suppose to have nuts and seeds until you are about 6 wks. out because they can cause ulcers. You better check with your dietician just to be safe.
  6. Try Chike and Syntax Nectar. You can't taste the whey in the Chike but you can in the nectar, but it's tolerable.
  7. I don't know what to say, your post made me cry. I have three children and I know that was hard on you and them. My husband and I both are waiting to be sleeved, and I pray that we won't have any complications. My children are not so happy with our choice to have the surgery they are 13,12 and 10. I keep second guessing myself and wondering if I am making the right decision.
  8. Good luck and blessings to you.
  9. Hi lovetennis the dietician at my Bariatric office told me that even if I am able to get to my goal weight before surgery that I can and should still have the surgery because I have been yo yo dieting for years.
  10. I sent all of you a friend request. I had to do the 6 month diet monitoring and will be finished with that at the end of January so I should have my sleeve in February. The waiting is driving me nuts.
  11. Guelia1279 you can doctor up your shakes with sugar free syrups. I bought the Premeire Protein chocolate also and put one in the freezer it came out like icecream. I also mixed one with Decaf coffee and it wasn't to bad, and you can add Splenda . Check out this site for flavor drops that don't have added sweetener to them http://capellaflavordrops.com/flavordrops.aspx
  12. Hi Marilyn unjury is pretty good. I just got so Chike samples today but I haven't tried them yet
  13. Hi do you think Biotin taken by mouth makes you hungrier?
  14. From what others have said it is the typical 3 wk stall.
  15. Hi everyone make sure you check with your Bariatric Office. I was told 6 months and I just found out from my Bariatrics Office that the first appointment doesn't count because you haven't been monitored for that month. You actually need to be seen 7 times.
