  15. I had to do 2 weeks worth of a liquid diet, in all honesty. the first 3 days are probably the worst, i was craving foods i never would eat on a normal basis. Here is what i did: My shakes were from my doctors office, but they are Bariatric Advantage shakes. I had 3-4 a day. In the middle of all that, I had chicken broth and vegetable broth, apple sauce, and Jello, apple juice and loads of crystal light and Water, eventually jello becomes quite filling. I occasionally had sugar free, fat free pudding. To mix it up, i went and bought wonton Soup and had that without the wontons, just to change what I was eating....errr....drinking. good luck, you can do it!!

  18. I was told by my surgeon it could be gas pains....He has told me that patients have explained of chest, arm, shoulder, neck and etc pain. Are you taking anything for gas? Like Gas X ?
  19. I was sleeved 9/18, Had no complications. I was ordered by my doctor to take pepcid, gas x, urisodol ( for gallbladder ) Calcium and multi Vitamin. In addtion i was sent home with percocet, and once i was off percocet, i was able to take tylenol. The day after surgery i was on pureed foods ( stage 2 ). I would deffinitely ask my doctor about the above meds. it makes the process so much easier.
  20. I got sleeved on 9/18, I started stage two on 9/19, a typical day for me includes the following. This is all guidlines by my nutrtionist, and i am down about 30 pounds so far.
  21. Good luck, I was sleeved on 9/18, everything turned out great. I couldnt be happier. I was very excitted to get it done. The process is so long ( or was so long) I had to do the 6 mos weigh in required by my surgeon, and I was just ready to get it done. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You will be thankful you did this......oh and get a scale, your going to need it to see those pounds shed off of you!!
