I am also waiting for a approval for the sleeve . ... philadelphia pa.. Healthpartners. I have the lapband now.

It is really bad. My doc said the sleeve would be ok for me. But I have heard from alot of people that have the sleeve. They have heart burn

Ok so I had the lap band put in march of 2013. I lost 33 pounds in a year. I have acid reflux so bad I have had so many test done. I have not had a fill in 2 months. I was 183 pounds. I am now 203 pounds. I went to see my surgeon on 9/17 and he said he wants to take the band out and do the sleeve. So now I am just waiting for healthpartners to approve me. My doctor said he thinks they are going to approve me because of all the testing I have had done.

My husband don't want me to get the sleave. He keeps saying you can do it on your own! It makes me angry.i supported him when he had gasto bypass done

I Am 25 with 4 kids I am 223 pounds and 5ft 3 in . I have heathpartners and they require 6 visits with the NUT and also some test I have done all the test and my 5th visit is on nov 2.... I already paid the $350 for the class that you do before surgery day... What do you all think?

I sleep like a baby lol but I woke up with a fan on me the guy said I was sweating and it was inner fearing with the test. I did not even wake up when he put it in the room

I also have the red light. I look crazy right now lol the told me I could not take anything!

I am from Philly Kensington area I just found out today inorder for my doctor to say its a go for me to get the sleave I have to do a sleep study. so I am going in tomorrow night for the test I am getting it done at temple hospital

Ok I am at the heart doctor about to get my test done .lets hope they say everything is ok and I can get the sleave. My heart is pumping so fast I hope that it don't inner fear with the test! I also have a my lung doctor today this is it today is the last test I have. I am so happy

@ Shannon....can't wait to see what happens. I have my stress test scheduled for the 15th of this month and its recommended I don't take if I am determined to be preggars. I guess only time will tell. Either way I'll be happy 9mos from now because I'll either have a new munchkin or on my way to a healthier me!
