Pre-Op Diet, Is What I'm Feeling Normal?
Yes! I am on it for a month too. I cheat a little with veggies but still losing. I see my nutritionist tomorrow so I'll see what she says. It's hard to be on this, yet exciting seeing the weight fall off of me for the first time in my life!!

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
I've definitely had more than one straw. Not being able to go to events at my kids' schools because it's too hard to walk and do stairs, not going on rides and missing how much I loved them, having my husband always scout out the best place for us to sit in the restaurant based on booth size, having little kids whisper to their parents "She's big", not having any energy, huffing and puffing through my day, not being able to clean my own house. I am doing this as much for my family as myself. I can't live like this any longer and I don't want to. Grief from losing twins at birth got me most of the way here, but I can't let it take control any longer. I have to be a survivor and a fighter. I am stronger than my impulses and temptations. I am strong! I can do this! Hey, WE'VE ALL GOT THIS! Look out fat - you are in my target range!!!!!!

Anyone Else In The 350+ Pre-Op Weight Range?
I started at 425. I am now at 404 and on day 4 of my liquid diet. I have lost 16 pounds in 4 days! Hope it keeps up!! I already feel amazing. I am 5'10 and carry my weight very evenly so people have a hard time believing I weigh what I do, but it's all there, believe me! I was skinny, skinny, skinny until my 20s. 140 pounds. Don't think I'll ever see that again! Carrying and then losing twins are part of what got me here. Grief can be such a food inducer.

Pre-Op Diet, Is What I'm Feeling Normal?
I'm doing okay with it. Not really hungry, just bored. I am down 15 pounds and I am on Day 4. Feels good to step on the scale! I cheat a little with cukes and fat free Ranch, but it hasn't slowed down the weight loss. I also love to snack on plain shaved ice. That helps me a lot. Crunchy, hydrating, and no calories!!

Bored And Eating
I totally understand where you are coming from. I have 3 kiddos. My son in 5th grade and my daughters ages 3 and 4. It is so hard to be at home during the day. I was so used to eating all day. Now I have to find another way to fill my days. It's a lot harder than I thought. I am on day 3 of my liquid diet. I have already lost 11 pounds, but it has been rough. I wonder if it would be much easier if I worked outside of the home. I imagine it would. The days pass by so slowly. Ugh! Look forward to talking to you and others like me more. Regrets
I have my surgery November 8th. I am on day two of my liquid diet. It's really hard, but I just keep reminding myself of all the positives. Do I really want to live like this anymore? Am I happy? The answer to both of those is no. Remember, this is a choice you're making, you are not a victim. You are choosing a better life for yourself. It is hard, but you deserve to be healthy and happy. Get rid if those negative thoughts and fill your mind with all the positives. There are so many more. Good luck. You CAN do it.
