  1. You look great! And' date=' what is your life like today, as far as eating?[/quote']

I have personally chosen to cut out bread all together. It did not sit well in the beginning (only thing that ever made me throw up). I choose a lot of lean meats and lots and lots of veggies! I also eat popcorn at work everyday as a snack. I allow myself indulgences, just in moderation. One cookie as apposed to the entire dozen. You will figure out what works for you. A year goes by quickly, enjoy it!

  2. Thank you, thank you!! Do not get discouraged! Stalls happen and you just have to let them run their course. I just lost six lbs this week out of no where after stalling since June. It's been worth every moment, and I can't believe it's almost been a year. I honestly feel I have been given a second chance at life, those things you are able to do after the weight loss make it all worth it. Running around with your child, riding rides and bikes, crossing your legs(best feeling for me) the constant shopping, enjoying my first summer-ever! Thanks again for the compliments! You will all get there! When your feeling down do side by side pics, that always picks me up and reminds you of where you never want to be again.

  3. Hit 189 today, haven't seen this weight since high school! Pic on the left is a year ago June at my daughter's bday party. Photo on the right is today, while buying size 12 AE skinny jeans!! Highest weight 297 Jan of 2012, day of surgery 277 on Sept 17 2012. Amazing journey!

  4. Are you losing on a steady basis? I am 5 mos out' date=' nervous i will stop losing at 6 mos since first 6 is so "critical". How many calories do you intake daily. Great job![/quote']

I have stalled along the way. I felt defeated at 5 months...stalled forever! Just remember this is a lifestyle change, and a commitment. You will get there! I don't really track calories, if i need to snack its nuts or beef Jerky. For 8 months out i feel i should be at the 100lb mark post OP, but I'm not and that's ok, but i will be soon (hopefully). My surgeons office told me you will continue to lose for your 1st year, hope this helps!....does anyone else get "hangry" grumpy when hungry as well?

  5. I was 8 months post OP on the 17th. I hit onderland, and the photo i attached is exactly one year apart. My husband puts his truck in a truck show every year. The weight loss really didn't stand out to me until i compared these side by side. Amazing! Worth every moment!
